I copied every step on this video as closely as I could and ran into about 10,000 errors. Either you're doing something special that cannot be copied or solidworks is just horrible to work with. Any help would be appreciated.

Is there a library of tread designs in SolidWorks that can be applied to an in- process shoe design project?

After clicking on the Insert button, click on the Features tab. you will get the same combine command.
