They filmed this on a cold, windy day wearing those decidely non-cold-friendly outfits. You should watch their making-of video for this too. Excellent song and lyric. Excellent video.
There is a video on RUclips of the ladies making this music video that's worth checking out. It was windy with a capitol W. Its called NEMOPHILA REVIVE - MAKING MOVIE. I'm heading to Nagoya to see them in September so cant wait to see the awesome 4some in action again. Hoping to check out Mana Diagram and a new band called Launcher No. 8 as well.
My favorite song (by a hair) by my favorite band. This song live is like mainlining adrenaline. Shitty rotten heart status: ignited. Mayu is such a versatile singer. Even leaving aside her "weapon of mass charisma" front person capabilities, her voice alone would make her outstanding. Those fry screams are so powerful, yet you can understand the lyrics, a rare combination. Her cleans have that little bit of "smoke" in them that adds such emotional power. She's technically solid, with accurate pitch, breathing, and timing. In a band noted for the technical prowess of every member, she completely holds her own. I just saw the quartet version of Nemo a couple weeks ago up here in Sapporo. I'm thrilled to report that they've lost nothing of their live magic. Yeah, things are different without Saki; you don't lose a musician of that caliber without things changing. But the songs sound great (the new arrangements _work_), the charisma and chemistry are still there, and both Hazuki and Haraguchi-san have made some subtle tone tweaks to avoid having things sound thin or hollow (shout out on that front to whoever was behind the desk at Klub Counter Action, too). And in many ways, Nemophila live have always been driven by Tamu behind the kit...and nothing's changed about that.
Awesome track. It grabs you by the nuts and never lets you go. I've only got into the Japanese metal scene in the past few months , binging on Babymetal first of all and falling in love with Su and the rest of the Babymetal crew. Then,BOOM along comes Nemophila, my musical world has been turned up side down again. Love Mayu's screams and cleans and the others in the band just kill everything, astonishing. One thing i need you to check out is their cover of Megitsune by Babymetal, because thats what sold me on Nemophila. Now ive got all their tracks on my playlist. The cover was respectful and very well done, Mayu even got the pig squeals perfectly on the breakdown. Very impressive.🤘🤘. Rock on and toddles.
Nemophila is always best for their original. But if you want to simply enjoy Mayu's vocal ability more, you should go to covers for AC/DC, Motley Crue, Linkin park, Halestorm, In this moment.
I'm always up for some Nemophila 🤘

Mayu ability to switch from badass to a goofball, scream to clean is what makes her so interesting and likable.
Broken By The Scream used this same location for one of their music vids, but they are down under the platforms.
Mayu is 🔥🔥🔥
"The noice you used to hate, it is now your best friend." That's rock n roll.
