Would you ever consider releasing sheet music for this piece? Your arrangement is lovely! 🌸
Beautiful. Opening with the cadenza (which is the original Minkus', as other versions include Lanchbery's). It builds up in a very dreamy way and comes to a very "piano concerto" climax near the end before finishing with the first melody. Very well played.
Could you record the full dream scene of La Bayadère? The Lanchbery piano version is available online at Imslp.org Thank you very much
I love entrance of Shades followed by the waltz, performed in a ballet by corps-de-ballet. Is this based on original Minkus score? I know it was later modified to satisfy ears of modern ballet fans, shame.
BytomGirl, to be honest I simply transcribed it from one of the full length modern productions hosted on RUclips. Can't remember which now, but they all appear to be the same. I added a little arpeggio twiddle towards the end immediately before the final reprise of the theme, but apart from that it follows pretty much exactly those versions.
@@caruuso ABT’s production of “La Bayadere” was the first to be “Lanchberry-ized”. Supposedly, the original Minkus orchestral score could not be easily obtained from the then USSR, so John (later Sir John) Lanchberry came up with his own arrangements that were based on a piano score. There’s a subtle but decided difference in some of the sections. I’m not a trained musician so I don’t know what the correct terms are, but even with my untrained ears, I can hear a difference. In any case, 19th century ballet music, especially by Minkus, is pretty banal. It took Tchaikovsky to elevate ballet music to a modicum of respectability. Even so, your piano rendition is simply beautiful.
How can I buy this arrangement of the kingdom of the Shadows? I love it and can not find out where I can get this beautiful arrangement you made. Thank you
Thanks. It's my own arrangement actually, so it's not really commercially available.
This is so beautiful. I am wondering if you can share the music sheets.
Anyone know what part of 3rd Act is this sublime music?
It's about 4 min in from the beginning of 3rd Act. It's called "Entrance of the Shades."
Can you please make sheet music for this!?
Lauren, I do have my various transcriptions written down, but none of them are actually published I'm afraid.
I think this would sound wonderful played on a church organ.
Toca passarinho la bayadere pls
Potrei avere lo spartito di questo brano? Grazie
I kneed the musical score of Labayadere.Where can i get it?
If you mean the orchestral score, I looked for it unsuccessfully when I was thinking about this arrangement. I had to settle on a simplified piano version I found on the Petrucci library site (composer is Ludwig Minkus).
No i mean for piano
Google "Petrucci music library composers", search in the "M"s for Ludwig Minkus. It's there.
@@caruuso thank you.i have many cd of recordings of La Bayadere with famous conductors and different orchestra
Posso avere lo spartito di questa musica ?
Graziella, l'ho trascritto io. L'unico spartito che c'è è quello mio (messa da parte l'improbabile possibilità futura che me lo pubblicassero).
Me lo mandi via email ?
Me lo mandi via email ? sei BRAVO !
Gosh, except for his bizarre claim science is religion, he is 100% correct.
