I am in the hospital right now recovering from surgery and just wanted to know that your voice makes me happy. I love your creativity and the joy you find from making beautiful things. Thank you so much! You made my day!
I love all of your ideas. I find myself buying little laces and ribbons and pieces thinking, "I wonder what Julia would think of this? " lol I will be making these tomorrow! You're such an inspiration. Thank you!!!
Hi Julia, I wish I could go to Minnesota this summer to see your booth. You always come up with the cutest things. I look forward to your videos all the time. When I spy one on YT, oh great, Julia has a new video today; makes my day. You're such a lovely person.
Hi Sheila, Thank you so much for your kind words! I wish all my RUclips follower could visit my shop- what a party we would have! Happy stitching! Julia
ewwww so cute love all the deco stitching and dew dads....love how you sew it together as well.......Cute Cute Fabric......Have fun in your cute little shop this year!!!!!
Hello! I hope you had a wonderful day! I was hosting a virtual sew day and it was a lot of fun to spend time with talented ladies. I just want you to know that I enjoy the content on your channel. I hope you have a glorious week ahead. Thank you for sharing your video.
I love your projects you make❤️ been following you for a few years now. You have inspired me alot and I have learned alot from you and I still learn alot from you.
My accent always gives me away! There are very few rules at the flea market. If I have to close early or not open at all, I just hang a sign on my door. It has given me much joy throughout the years. Thanks for watching, Julia
I found you recently, and I am so excited to do some of your projects! I love that your videos are fast but still very well instructed. Thank you so much!
This tutorial helped me so much, especially in the confidence dept. Just received my hopper foot and some quilting pieces to embellish! Kids are now grown, and I feel like I can do these types of fun projects that give me pleasure.
Yes it would be beautiful in hand work. My hands don't work the way they use to but I am trying to incorporate more hand stitching in my projects. I love the look.
These are so stinkin Adorbs!!I will be sharing this with my FB Group Challenge Ideas. Happy Spring my Sweet Friend.. Positive Blessings, vibes peace, health and happiness! Namesta ✌️🐞🕉️
This is so cute. I think I will try with all white, or vintage colors to add to my journals. On cover would be nice. And then I'll want to do some embroidery, or bead embroidery. And I crochet those little flowers and adding them is perfect too. How exciting!! You have the best ideas!! Thx for another great video. Austin,TX USA
❤ I just adore your idea's. I was very excited about the paint crayons (I know that's not what they are called, but it was in a previous video) for my grand daughters I think they will love to do these.
These flowers are definitely stash worthy, thank you. I really like how all the petals are different. Really fun to watch you free motion, almost as much fun as doing it myself❤
Julia, I have also been making some little flower pins. I had an idea to make them with yellow petals and a blue center in support of Ukraine. Maybe you would like to give that a make for people at your shop who would be interested in supporting Ukraine. Best of luck this summer at the shop.
Hi Julia - These are so pretty. I love the flower template you created. It can be used on so many things. This type of flower is my favorite kind. Love the 5 petals and round center. Would be pretty to use stitches for the stems and leaves and create a flower garden. I’ll have to draw the flower since I’ve not yet got my printer hooked up. I just love all the fun things you come up with. We are finally getting some warm and sunny days!!! Gonna have a cold snap again toward the end of this week. Hope your snow has melted. See ya next time sweet friend. Hugs 💕☀️🌸🧵😍
Hi Pam, I am so in the mood for spring that I thought these flowers would be a good project. Our snow is almost gone! I can't believe this April- it is one for the record book. I haven't been able to get to my little shop yet and I'm starting to panic. The canopy must go up first before I can start cleaning etc and the weather hasn't allowed it. We have a forecast of rain for the next few days then I think we are in the clear. I keep telling myself -" you can only do what you can do"! Have a great weekend, Julia
Hi Julia! I have saved most of your inspiring videos to watch over and over. (I gain courage each time I watch them. 😄) I am getting your pkg together but I keep finding more things to add! I really need to go thru and organize my 3 fabric spaces better, lol. I need to watch your videos on that again. 🤗 You really have a way of mixing up and sharing your unique techniques! Thanks again! Brenda 🌼
Krásne kvietky 👍❤️ ste skvelá 😉 máte zlaté ruky a bombastické nápady 👏 ďakujem veľmi pekne za inšpiráciu 😘 pozdravujem zo Slovenska 🇸🇰 a prajem vám všetko dobré 😀🤗
I find that bobbin work is a lot of trial and error. Sometimes it works for me and sometimes not. The batting helps with the stitches. I find that sewing just on fabric is tricky. Perhaps try a lightweight interfacing on the back of the fabric.
Such a cute idea! Love flowers and pink, pink, everything pink! I am always looking for a small, lightweight iron. Please tell me what brand of iron you used in this video. Thanks!
HI, My iron is a Sunbeam. I actually got it from Walmart and was very inexpensive. I'm so hard on my iron because I'm always using sticky stuff- LOL. I'm better off with going cheap! Thanks for watching, ( I love pink too! Julia
Love your sweet flowers Julia, especially the multiple prints! I would like something like this on a chambray or denim shirt, but I don’t know if they even make those anymore! They would be cute on a summer bag as well, so I might need to work on one. Also a fun idea for Mother’s Day. I wish we were closer so I could visit your shop, but I’m in southern Nevada. I’ve been meaning to ask you, would the thin cotton/poly batting work well in small projects like this one? I’m trying to use up smaller pieces that I’ve been saving. I still need to order a foot for my sewing machine, but the hot summer is around the corner, which is a good time to stay inside and practice free motion stitching, right? I hope your booth is fun and successful this year.
Hi, Yes the thin batting would work great. I'm all about using what you have on hand. I wish you could visit my shop too! It's always so great to meet other crafters! Julia
So very cute and versatile. Would love to make them. I cannot find the free template to download. Is it still available? Thanks for sharing your talents.
Hi Karen, I purchased the fabric with phrases several years ago. It also had matching scrapbook paper. I'm always on the lookout for fabric with words.

Darling flowers!
Loved this video. A smaller version sewn on a headband for a lil girl would also be great

Really pretty I stitch by hand so I'm thinking now how to make this by hand. With hand embroidery it would look beautiful.

I love them!!! So very sweet. Thank you so much for sharing your process and providing a template. Be especially blessed in all things!!! ♥
Such a cute idea!! It makes you start using all the different sewing stitches on your machine.
I agree. I try to incorporate decorative stitches when I can. They're not used enough! Thanks for watching, Julia
Adorable!
So darn cute …as always! And you make it look very doable…. Thanks for sharing

Daisies never get old..super super love this & love all the little embellishments you use. They all looked fabulous!! Thankyou for posting :)
If I unlike and re-like, does that count for double my likes? 😂 I have no idea how many times I've watched this one, but I love it! ❤

I've forgotten all about this project! I'll have to rewatch myself and make more for my summer shop!

@@stitchesbyjulia I think this reply is meant for someone else
@@marionmathews9852 I was wondering where that reply went:) My computer was locking up. I’m copying and getting it pasted in the correct spot.
Much more than a flea market = summer or farmers market
I love them!! They are super cute!! May I ask what brand is your sewing machine?
Hi, I am using a Janome Memory Craft 8200. Mine is about 12 years old but this model is still available. Thanks for watching, Julia
Excellent video. Great sewing. Do you have a hand sewing version?
No, sorry
