    Woozi has been voted as the most hardworking member along with hoshi and that definitely checks out. Even though they both share that quality of responsibility hoshi has stated that he needs woozi to balance out his impulsiveness and ground him. (and woozi has said that hoshi is the one that loves his music the most and hoshi spends a lot of time in his studio, so it's definitely a mutually beneficial friendship) Woozi is definitely very detail-oriented and so extremely dedicated, and he loves seventeen with his whole heart. He does love his alone time tho.
    They also are able to bring out a different side of him cause while he's really mature he's also just a really bright person. You can always hear his laugh in seventeen vids and he's probably, if not the most, at least one of the members who enjoys the other members antics the most.
    Music is also the way that he expresses his love for his members, he writes lyrics to convey what he has difficulty expressing with words

  • @RaiiLOL
    @RaiiLOL Год назад +80

    Woozi always had a big role on seventeen because he was the one producing for them. So I think that this maturity and sense of responsibility comes from there, he has a lot of pressure on his shoulders to make seventeen succeed. Also Seungkwan, when seventeen was still unknown for the public, Seungkwan was in a lot of television programs trying to promote seventeen because he has this talent for entertainment. Maybe that's why you see a lot of leadership on them.
    Btw, The one laying down at 9:41 is Wonwoo. 😅

    7:10 yes he can!! Along with being the group’s producer, he is a GREAT singer dare I say he could be main vocal along with dk and seungkwan 🫠 also a great dancer too

  • @ysko7
    @ysko7 Год назад +60

    Woozi had to take the responsibility of making svt's music himself from the start, he was very young and their whole albums, their product, what basically determines a group's identity and lets them succeed or not, was on his shoulders. So yes he's very mature, responsible, reliable. And the social leadership you saw in seungkwan is mostly his show host nature (he's done a lot of hosting in various shows, had many appearances in korean variety or comedy shows) He loves being an entertainer and naturally tries to take charge of the fun, the flow, the content

    woozi is seventeen vocal unit leader, a producer of almost all seventeen's songs, the top trainee before seventeen debut. he IS one the pillars of seventeen leadership and kind of scarily talented (but also hardworking) dude

    @maddie6620 Год назад +16

    Woozi is one of the most humble person i've encountered especially in their industry. He held a big responsibility at a young age even before debut. And now that he achieved so much like he said "more than they imagined and deserve", he kept his foot on the ground same with the rest of svt and doesn't come as the opposite of his personality now. Carats and the members are beyond proud of our music producer. Thank your for this analysis, Max! I hope you continue the rest of their documentary, it's really interesting and hopeful.

    Woozi such a talented and hardworking person. Hes not just good in music production but also in singing and dancing. During predebut, he actually in performance unit (dance) and also takes part in dance break during seventeen performance before. He also able to play some music instrument which he actually perform it on stage before.

    thank you so much for this reaction!! i'm gonna head to patreon later to grab all the uncut svt videos so far ☺️☺️
    you mentioned some comments about pronunciation so while i'm here i'll add: seungkwan is pronounced more like "sung-gwan" or "sung-kwan", and woozi is pronounced either "woo-zi" or "oo-ji", with the former being the english pron. and the latter the korean 😇 instead of "uzi" like lil uzi vert
    you're right about woozi's performance!! it wasn't clear until they debuted which of svt's teams he would be in; he was almost part of the performance unit! their predebut series "17 project" shows one of the only instances of woozi crying because he feels responsible for the group's debut and their future, so it's heartwarming to see now he feels so much better about it, and their progress that he no longer needs to worry about it. as for detail-oriented, i think that shows even in his music: he has a tiktok from his studio that shows the progress of him making a very very short song and you can see the multitude of layers that go into it for a 1 minute tiktok
    sorry for the long comment but i'm super passionate about the honesty and realness they all show on this docuseries and i'm excited for the rest of your interpretations 😇

    aa thank you, I'm glad you got to check this out! I was one of the ppl who requested this. for sure I'd be down to see more! interested to hear your thoughts & learning more abt them
    svt's engine as the members say. woozi rly is reliable & dependable, he loves doing music & I love how much you can tell he cherishes his work & being able to do this with his members. he already mentioned a few times in the past how he had felt burdened bcs of how much he's responsible as their producer, how he's scared if he's not doing well he's failing them :( but over the years I definitely feel relieved that he said it doesn't bother him too much now. he trusts the members & the members trust him, yet it doesn't feel heavy, instead it seems like it's more empowering, ig having faith in e/o would be a more accurate way to explain it. seeing their growth/bond is definitely wonderful

    Woozi is pronounced U-ji.
    His Korean name is Jihoon and the staff always call him Uri Jihoonie (which means “our Jihoonie” It’s a cute nickname) so he made his stage name Uji (stylised as WOOZI) 😊
    And yes, he’s a great performer/dancer. He was initially put in the performance unit because he’s a great dancer as well as being a great vocalist. He plays multiple instruments as well.
    What I like about him is his humbleness. He’s always shy whenever he’s being complimented and he never just takes all the credits himself. He always mentions it’s a group effort when it comes to Seventeen’s music. He’s indeed, like Hoshi says, Seventeen’s engine 😊
