you're definitely one of the better heli pilots I've seen on sims, excellent job. the reason for the mixture rich fuel boost on in is to get the fuel pressure up and get fuel in the system, then you pull it so you don't overload the engine with fuel. Additionally you are correct, in helicopters, we NEVER adjust the mixture. it stays the same at 1000 as it would at 13000, risk of shutting the engine off is just too great to outweigh any benefits.

I bought it as soon as I saw it. I absolutely LOVE the model but I find it almost uncontrollable. There is about a half second lag in the control inputs and once the controls kick in, they are mushy, not at all what I would expect from a small helo like this. I fly almost exclusively helicopters in my Sim and have no problems with any of them. But this one just doesn't work for me. BTW I have my sensitivities set to flat, but even that doesn't help. Is there an entry in the cfg where one can reduce the control lag?

Great video, the heli certainly looks fun. Unfortunately, this is broken on Xbox. The modeling is great and it does look fun, but the Lateral Trim goes full tilt to one side and sticks there. Unfortunately, many on the Forums are saying that Nemeth os lacking when it comes to updating, but hopefully this gets fixed.
Nice video! I bought the S300 after you posted the first positive comment on the MSFS forums, following many negative comments of people who had never tried it. At the moment the S300 is all I fly, it's just so good! And I think it made me a better helicopter as well, because its reactions to control inputs are very consistent and smooth. So it is indeed not the easiest helicopter to fly in MSFS, but an extremely rewarding one!
How do you know if people complain without buying it? I bought it - it's impossible to trim laterally and it is super twitchy - way more than every other helo. Oh - and no idea how you have *smooth" reactions - here it's erratic at best... Easy the worst buy I ever did - absolutely regret it.
@@MerlinCH65 Hi Merlin, I think we are having a parallel discussion on the MSFS official forum right now, I am JasonMuc2112 over there ;) At the beginning of that forum thread, several people were discussing about the quality of the S300 based on the bad Marketplace ratings, and nobody (me included!) was willing to take the risk. My RUclips comment was based on that situation. For me the Cowansim 500D for example is a lot twitchier. And the 500D stays twitchy, no matter how long I fly it. With the S300 my first few take-offs were bad, but after that it improved a lot. But I have heard from several people that their S300 behaves erratic, and I don't doubt that anymore.

You should have your trim set to the cyclic trim and not the elevator trim. That way you also get the roll trim as well.

Not sure why some are having this problem and others are not. I don't have any lag like that. If I find an answer I will pass it on.

i like this chopper, bud it needs some more stability in the hover. hope they gonna change that.

The Co-Pilot being that way juat shows the lack of quality Nemeth has. The general opinion backs this up.
