Hóskollr - the holy mountain of Stav

Haskoll, or Hóskollr in Old Norse, means the grey hill, or perhaps the hill of the grey. Hos is also the Stav specific name for Odin. The hillfort on top of the hill was built around 1500 years ago, and the hill is situated on the traditional land of the Haskolls/Hafskjolds; located about 40 minutes west of Oslo in Norway.
