Nick’s screenplay is giving me Midsommar vibes and I’m obsessed! I would gladly watch it, the topic is so interesting.
I adore Nick's contributions! More Nick please if he enjoys being on the pod ☺
Somebody make Nick's screenplay into a movie like right meow cuz I'm jonesing for it! Love Maggie, Matt and Rainie but I miss Becky's beautiful glowing face and sunny disposition. I hope she is enjoying her time off and comes back soon!
I'd 100% watch that movie that Nick Rufca made the screenplay for. I actually had a conversation similar to the topic about how a lot of Americans (and others but I live in the US, so can only speak to that) are really disconnected with where their food comes from. Like one time I was talking about how like the cows that make wagyu beef are taken care of and how you get the certificate and everything, people got uncomfortable, and I'm like, but you eat meat. I think it's another way like capitalism and consumerism is separating us from the earth :/ but also everyone is on their own journey.
Nick is amazing. I always love having him on and getting to hear from him. He's got such an interesting perspective.
Such a fun ep! Love when Nick sits with y’all 💜
I love listening to Nick talk about producing and planning, especially the cannabis dinner. So cool
I love it when Nick is on!
Rainie is the best! And I love this pod. I want Nick's film to be made asap!
Ok y’all I came all the way from Spotify to yell WHERE THE BLEEP IS BECKY thank you for your time I’m going back to Spotify now
🤰
I love how most of them are talking about being star-struck as though they themselves aren't to a degree famous. I would totally fanboy meeting any of the try-guys crew because I love all their personalities and love the company as a whole.
Break the internet and get Ariel in for a life update! All positive vibes 🌈
It’s not gonna happen on the podcast.
Ariel is still with Ned so I think it would probably be awkward for all of them.
One can only hope 😂
I don’t even think they’re friends anymore
@@andreayg0 they definitely are friends, but Ariel wants privacy
If you have any interest in Nick’s manuscript, mainly the focus on the treatment of animals I highly recommend “Drive Your Plows Over The Bones of The Dead.” It’s very good, the meaning is kind of hidden so you really have to think about it but I think it was also made into a film called Spoor
Nick and raine should read books that relates to cannibalism and food with thrill or eerie twist in them to relate to the script. Such as tender is the flesh and so many more. This might help them paint the script more. 💖
That book was SO INTENSE. Omg. Great but wild
The gayssssss. Bring Eugene with Matt and nick
yesssss✨🙌🏻(add david too)
@@juliebuckley5833 yesss. I need a chaotic gays episode.
There is a farm out past Calabasas on which the Netflix docu The Biggest Littlest Farm was filmed. It's not spa-like but they are open for tours and they are lovely, not horror-like!
I scoured through yall's videos just so I could use the Lume code. Thank you for saving me $5 !
I swear this episode just flew by
Nick mentioned something really great. It is important to show people and kids how their food is produced. I continue to eat meat but I appreciate what I have on my plate now. It's probably a good idea to really value one's food.
What were the recipe websites mentioned? I don’t think the captions picked them up
Rainie how did you go to Tufts and never see the ghost tours all around downtown Boston?!
Y’all we already lost Ariel, I can’t lose Becky too. This is worse than Grey’s Anatomy killing of Derek
I'm sure she will be back in like 2-3 months
wait where did i miss about becky 😭😭 what
i think this is just what zach meant about keith and becky on vacation when he explained why it's mostly him on the try videos now
Speculation is that she is having a baby but we are all supposed to respect their privacy. Either way I hope she is doing ok and look forward to having her back on the show. This episode is still fun and entertaining 😊
😊
I want to recommend a book to Nick thats about death rituals around the world, it touches on cannibalism, animal sacrifices in todays world, the beliefs around treating the dead. Its called "From Here to Eternity" by Caitlin Doughty!
FYI, I think Rainie meant Mise en PLACE 😅👍🏼 which means you gather all your measured and prepped ingredients before starting to cook, like how cooking shows do it, and also restaurants (sorta)
No, she was correct. Mise en scene is a similar concept as mise en place but applied to the kitchen space. Instead of having ingredients prepared ahead of time to makes the actual cooking part easier, it's an environment prepared ahead of time to make it more conducive for cooking (ie. having a clean, well stocked kitchen makes cooking easier). Like you're far less likely to cook a meal if your pots/pans/cutting board/etc. are still dirty, or there's dishes in the sink making it harder to wash ingredients, or if a recipe calls for a specific kitchen tool/ingredient but you don't have it, or there's not much counter space to prep food, etc. 😊
Nick’s screenplay sounds like “The Menu”
Is Becky ok 😢
she's fine
Need to change the title of this pod - bring in the horror genre, bring in Zach's party. I always miss Ariel and Becky but I love the try staff and they are doing a great job. Rainie does such a great job with the podcasts especially.
I am sat
Lol they’re talking about being starstruck when seeing celebs, as though I (we) wouldn’t be just as starstruck seeing them ❤ I would be so excited to meet anyone of them in the wild
I miss Becky she is so beautiful and lovely
Where is becky?
Viva Maggie¡¡¡
32:00
Whereeee is Becky?!😭 is she okay?
You cannot 'humanely' kill an animal that doesnt want to die.
(for food anyways, pets being put down at old age because of pain is very different).
Has becky left the pod?? 😢
I'm pretty sure she just taking some time off. People have been making comments about her body in recent podcasts.
People are gross. Plus, Keith has a refined pallet and eats the menu at establishments all over the continent, yet his #1 is always Becky. Clearly she’s perfect.
@@moriahoreillyany proof? Keith has been touring with Lewberger?
@@moriahoreilly Becky has publicly said that comments like the one you just made make her uncomfortable. So many people have been commenting about her body and making assumptions and she is likely taking time off due to this. Stop it.
🍼
😆😆
Where is Becky ??????? Can we get some update? So we don’t spiral 🥺
She was having a baby
Where is Becky? 🥺
Where is Becky? :(
STOP INTERRUPTING EACH OTHER.
Years later, and no one in the Try Universe has learned how to communicate well.
Where's Becky?
Literally what I've been researching for 10 minutes. Looks like it's been a month since she's been on :/
She's fine! I've seen her on her Instagram. She may have gotten tired of people commenting & speculating about her body.
@@jmason1770 about her body?? Didn't know anything about that. I hope people aren't body shaming her :'(
I hope they tell us if she's coming back or not. I watch for her, so 🫤
Omg people, obviously she just had a baby.. she is probably on maternity leave 😅
@@jmason1770you know that's not why she's busy and taking some time off
These podcasts really went downhill after Ariel left:(
