Haha i've been eyeing one up for a while. Looking for something better to replace the shitty amp modelling on my POD HD500X. Do you think it is worth the upgrade? :). Also Shokran just uploaded the vocal studio update. It's a very interesting and great watch :)
The Amp is pretty okay I think, but actually I wish I had just bought bias, but I didnt know of it at that time. And since I don't perform live, I don`t really need an amp. I'm not even using the cab impulses which are coming with it. I have to say I dont use the Amp to its full extent, I need a decent distortion and clean channel and thats it :) The Amp has a lot more options but I'm not using them... So I can say the Amp is good, but I dont know if better than your POD (although mine IS an actual amp and the POD isnt), but again Bias wouldve had everything i needed and more...
+Aaron Scheer also WISSEN tu ichs nicht, aber der fakt dass ich alle saiten brauch für den song, geh ich stark davon aus... Zudem ist die gitarre gedroppt, deshalb hört sichs noch tiefer an...
Sam Shredits stimmt.. Ist ja drop gis Ich bau ja grad meine alte auf passive PUs um und dann gibts drop f oder g mal schauen, hab noch nen "custom" 74 er satz rumkullern :)
It was definitely not done by feet, so yea, done by ear :P GP Tab available soon, I'll let you know, but be prepared, it's only that single guitar I'm playing in this video, no backing whatsoever...
Sidenote: If you think you're able to play a song like this, then you should be able to figure out songs like this yourself. It's an important skill to be developed. Don't rely on other peoples tabs, train your ear! With that said: Tab's in the description :)
Dude honestly I'm not the guy to ask for sound advice. I play a schecter hellraiser into an atomic amplifire. That would be the key ingredients, because a lot of mixing I do not! There are countless tutorials on here, I'm learning myself! Have fun progressing :)
Also ich find den Sänger bzw die clean vocals auf dem neuen Album zehn mal besser als das emo core gequietsche vom ersten Album. Ich versteh dennoch dein Anliegen aber wenn man bedenkt dass Shokran erst zwei Alben hat, kann man nicht wirklich sagen dass die sich großartig verändert haben, außer dass sie vielleicht erwachsener geworden sind.
Also hinsichtlich der Tatsache, dass die Demo rein instrumental war und auch das Album Supreme Truth gänzlich ohne Vocals erhältlich ist, kann ich nur sagen, dass das auch besser so war, wie ich persönlich finde. Desweiteren finde ich es halt fraglich, warum zB. Bands wie Veil of Maya, die ich bisher sehr geschätzt habe, es auf einmal für nötig halten, cleanen Gesang einzubauen.... Das hat vorher niemandem gefehlt und ist in meinen Ohren echt zu viel des Guten :D
+killakuhwin1 okay als surpreme truth als instrumental rausgekommen ist, hab ich mich auch sehr gefreut, aber den aktuellen gesang find ich so oder so besser als den alten. Zu veil of maya kann ich persönlich nur sagen dass ich mich dort über clean vocals gefreut hab, aber gerade weil die nen guten clean sänger haben und keinen billig sänger von der stange, aber dass das geschmackssache ist brauch ich natürlich nicht erwähnen. Was ich auf jeden fall weiß ist, dass man nach ein paar jahren auch sich mal ein bisschen weiterentwickeln will und neuen pep reinbringen. Und mit dem faktor "clean gesang" hat veil bestimmt noch ein paar leute für sich gewinnen können. Zudem... Wenn der sänger gewechselt wird und der neue nun mal auch clean singen kann dann will er das auch natürlich. Jemand wie veil hats mit sicherheit nicht nötig auf irgendeinen wagen zu springen und erst recht zu sumerian bands passt clean gesang wenigstens.bei ner brutalen deathmetal band säh das schon ganz anders aus^^
