Good afternoon. I'm from Russia. this is the best invention on you tube. I am very sorry that you can only put one like. with pleasure would put a thousand likes. good luck.
Nice looking, though for a diy I was hoping to see a parts list. Is it brass or copper? What was the total cost? I think it would have been much cooler if you found a way to incorporate the tubing in a way to chill the beverage while dispensing it. I think I may make one similar.
looks to me like standard plumbing fittings mostly, steel floor flange, several adaptors to convert that to brass, maybe 1/2" parts. I think the connection rod is a 3 or 4 inch nipple. T fitting, appropriately sized faucet, and some sort of flow meter, which I think is the only part not easily found at a hardware store. the last bit to connect to the jar I'm not sure what it is, but looks like neoprene washers to seal and I'm guessing the hole was drilled with a diamond holesaw. the coil is copper though I was hoping for a parts list too, but I can extrapolate most info and guess the total cost was around 50 bucks (USD) that's guessing the meter is only 20 bucks or so.
loxeal 55-14. Medium strength anaerobic adhesive for sealing hydraulic and pneumatics threads connectors up to 1"1/2, (is intended for use in the food industry). To replace P.T.F.E. tapes in the sealing of gases, water, LPG, hydrocarbons, oils and other chemicals, non-toxic. Medium thixotropic effect prevents migration of the sealant before or during curing. Highly resistant to heat, corrosion, shocks and vibrations.
I like it!!! - Think I'll make a similar one - But on the one he made I think I would have made the wicks longer - long enough to go down the pipe to the valve, else that fuel never gets used.
One most difficult thing for me to find was the part what You used to connect the (IKEA) jar with the rest. I found it on aliexpres. It is "water tank connection" - they have it as well in shops with camper accessories (or ebay - not exactly the same). Too bad that You don't let us the list of part... But any way... great job!
Looks awesome. But I couldn't jeopardize the flavor of the whiskey for looks. Honestly nothing looks classier that a nice bottle of whiskey and a glass next to it.
Realy nice, but what you need is: a motor driven pump, some cooling liquid and a peltier-element and a battery. Just solder these parts to your cupper-spool an ready is the update from steampunk to steampunk with a little style ;)
Wouaw very nice ! I would prefer a smaller tap, or a kind of valve maybe, something with a smaller output to dose/dispense with a nice flow... Also I would be afraid to tight to much and break the glass ! I will find something thick enough... I just bought yesterday a set of glass drill, a sign I must make it I guess haha... thanks !!!
NPW5Master people who loves whisky pour it from the bottle, it's easier and more satisfying to hear. That looks fancy and that's all the point. Who puts a Talisker into that? Totally suport your point and Grzegorz
Does that gauge actually measure how much whiskey you dispense? I guess you'd really have to be an alcoholic to test if it did since it measures in cubic meters...
I’m so happy to have found your channel. You’ve make steampunk enjoyable for me. I just don’t want to know what this project cost you in brass fittings and copper.
I cant seem to find a way to seal the bottom of my T fitting when I tried making mine. So i came here, and I kind of had the same idea, (to use a plug, but the backside of the plug wouldn't thread) which brings me to my question. What type of plug did you use at the base of your T ?!?!?
So am i right in assuming that the top of the container is open so all kinds of bugs can drop into it? The silver looking ring looks to be just to cover the edge of the container...
Thank you) All materials that I used to create this project are used for house water supply, that is, brass fittings do not contain heavy metals such as lead for example and the glue that was used for a threaded connection is intended for drinking water.
Banjo Show great project! The only my concern is that all the components are rated for tap water only. I'm not sure that there is a beverage other than water that can be safely stored there. Ethanol may extract poisonous components from the sealing and plastic parts of the flow meter, and acids contained in soft drinks and juices will dissolve metals over time. And the liquid remains in contact with these surfaces all the time that the dispenser is not in use, constantly extracting chemicals. Other than that this is a very beautiful device.
Funny - I wonder how those washers and the like affect the flavour of the whiskey.....but I have never wondered how they'd affect the flavour of the water coming into my house.....
Nicely made love it, a question though, wouldn't the brass tarnish the taste of the whiskey ? Or could you do a lining of some sort of food grade sealer and let dry properly before use?
Andrius Pileckis The point is to change its measurement readings, by technical characteristics (the first counter), it shows 200 ml one division, I put it 45 ml per division so that you can measure portions of whiskey.
Thank you! Brand of water meter "Maddalena", I buy it at local stores, website: www.maddalena.it/en/products/residential-use/cd-one-trp/9 Plastic cover I peel off.

Banjo Show how much does it cost for these builds
90 €
thank you
Banjo Show that is super beutiful, i love things like these!
Добрый день! Скажите пожалуйста где приобрести такой счетчик воды?
I love your serving size. Just one drink after work and then time for a nap.
HAHAHAHAHA
AKA Nathan , see that's what I was thinking...🤔
That's a "just had a bad day" sized whiskey pour.
that's just a normal day sized whiskey pour for me. on a bad day i just grab the whole bottle.
that's just a normal day sized whiskey pour for me. on a bad day i just grab the whole bottle.
@@phalanx3803 i hate how me your comment is.
I was like number 69
That's a bloody big whiskey by anyone's measure!
Hahaha))
I beg to differ. There are those of us who do no whiskeys in half-measures. 😜
I call that dinner
Not big enough. The glass was too small.
Banjo Show why don't you talk in the videos brother?
my favorite part is the water meter.. really turns it into a momento as you share the drinks with your pals
Good afternoon. I'm from Russia. this is the best invention on you tube. I am very sorry that you can only put one like. with pleasure would put a thousand likes. good luck.
I so know someone who would love this...that's an awesome piece
I think that he loves thread lock compound more than HowToBasic loves eggs....
Hahahaha
He doesn't want it to leak and waste that fine whiskey
Geile Idee! Und ohne Worte für jeden verständlich super erklärt, super gemacht!
Как всегда супер! С огромным удовольствием всегда смотрю Ваши видео
Now that's a drink.. Full glass, straight whiskey! Bottom's Up!!
Ohh so cool! An as an added bonus... Perfect to hide cheap whisky to serve to your guests and drink the nice stuff for your self! ;)
Да крутой Бармен!!!😁😁😁🖒🖒👍👍👌👌👌👏👏👏💪💪💪
2 things I love, whiskey and steampunk.

ItsMeGiga brass has a good color and copper has a red color. This is mostly brass. The coil is copper

ItsMeGiga
If you can't tell what's brass or copper you won't be making shit.
dscrive - the part you mention is called a "bulkhead fitting"
Whiskey straight should be warm
The Liquor is going to get in contact with the threadsealing agent (the red stuff)... am I going to drink that too ?

Thanks for taking the time to reply !
you are welcome )
but is it resistant to solvents - ie, alcohol?
probably not
Banjo Show and before drinking from make sure you flush the system a few times or until it seems safe to drink
Neat! Love me some whiskey and this would make a great taking point when my friends come by. Thanks for the vid!
Just found your channel today and have to say....you have some amazing content! Keep up the great work!
It's very creative and beautiful stuff
Thanks

I will use it for iced tea
Very, very good job 👍
Muito bonito , aqui no Brasil não se ve vídeos assim com tanta criatividade ,, parabéns.
This. Is. Amazing.
Very nice, good job!
Thanks)
That's pretty badass. 👍
Beautifully done. I'm a fan of yours ......
Thank you)
I like the gauge on there, that was a nice touch
Need to be a patreon member just to see the parts list. Nice.
Awesome
Really liked it

I bet hour house looks amazing!
Very very good!!!
That's quite a glass of whiskey :0
Están muy bonitos!!! Disculpe en cuanto los vende!!!?
Amazing! Thanks for sharing!
Really cool. I would recommend filing off all of the company logo stuff on the parts first, just to make it cleaner.
"Yeah barkeep, I'll take a 10-finger whiskey, neat of course."
what a nice idea... i like the counter :D
Really beautiful project man! Love it..
Thank you)
Awesome work love it

amazing video , i would love to have on in my house !!!but i don't have the tools but in the future when i get them i will definitely make it
The only difficulty is to make a hole in the glass bulb, everything else should be easy to do)
Winter is coming! I need one for my lagavulin!!! :D
hahaha my friend, I think it would be better to make heating because the end of the winter we will be alcoholics:D
hahaha!!
RepairLab
My favorite Whisky..If you pour them like the guy does i'm coming round to your house i'll only have a couple though. LOL
Great build...
Thank you.
I'm going to try this!
Isn't the alcohol reacting with the brass?
As far as i remember it is reacting with copper pipes, but what about brass?
Grzegorz Makarski thats what i thaught aswell... Cool idea but i dont know of the Brass and the rubber sealing will Change the taste
It's only 1333.33 bottles of 750 mL, 1000 bottles of 1 L, or 571 bottles of 1.75 L to hit 1 cubic meter. No biggy
@@felipepubillones2768 Sounds like a hell of a weekend 😀 🥃🥃🥃🥃🥃
Could you please tell me which brand is the gauge?? I cannot find it anywhere! Thank you
If you pay, he’ll tell you
I hope i am not late but can you please tell me the name of that meter part and that thing that goes atound the bottle it look very nice

bhoaaaaaaa geil!!! Sorry wrong language.. i mean: extremely cooooooool 😎👌 love it!
Thank you my friend, I'm glad that you liked it and Thank you for your support.
Baschroe zo geil
Baschroe ich finds auch supergeil
Banjo Show thats loocking awesome and its a verry cool idea
You could also run a cold liquid threw the copper tube around the reservoir, to cool you drink.
I had such an idea but it's pretty hard to find a small refrigeration unit)
Very cool and nice, but what about copper in the spirit?
Muito bom! Ficou show de bola! Parabéns pelo vídeo!
Any way to make the coil into a chiller line to keep the drinks cooler?
I cant seem to find a way to seal the bottom of my T fitting when I tried making mine. So i came here, and I kind of had the same idea, (to use a plug, but the backside of the plug wouldn't thread) which brings me to my question. What type of plug did you use at the base of your T ?!?!?
Where can I buy a brass bodied flow meter? all I can find are plastic ones.
So beautiful.
Where did you get the brass flow meter from ?
How do you prevent the corrosion and discoloration off liquor in the brass pipes?
Увидев Kvint прям обрадовался такой самоделке в стиле stimpank ! Очень круто ! Где проживаете ?
So am i right in assuming that the top of the container is open so all kinds of bugs can drop into it? The silver looking ring looks to be just to cover the edge of the container...
Beautiful
Where did you get the glass container? Link?
Interessante, ficou muito legal. Rio RJ Brasil
God damn it, that thing was so cool.
what an awesome video, is there anything that can't be done steampunk style. You make me look like an amature,
What kind of parts do you use in the video. Looks very interesting.
Very slick the vibe of these videos is awesome! Silly question: Is this stuff food safe?
Thank you) All materials that I used to create this project are used for house water supply, that is, brass fittings do not contain heavy metals such as lead for example and the glue that was used for a threaded connection is intended for drinking water.

What kind of sealant do you use
This guy's house must be awesome
Just a doubt. What the function of the copper pump?
For the rubber seals, was wondering contamination issue or concern for liquid being dispersed and or over time use? Just curious. And love the design
All sealing rubber is silicone, alcohol does not affect the silicone
So cool
Brilliant absolutely brilliant... now! How the hell can I buy one !!! Your teasing meee stop it mate!!!👽
Just what I need is a meter telling me how much whiskey I go through.
I like that. But, the coil is decorative?
Thank you. Yes
Век воли невидать ТАЛАНТИЩЕ !
Is it possible to use Loctite 542 instead of loxeal 55-14?
Why you don’t answer???
Funny - I wonder how those washers and the like affect the flavour of the whiskey.....but I have never wondered how they'd affect the flavour of the water coming into my house.....
Also wonder what can be done to the mechanics of the meter to make it more sensitive..... for effect.
Flavored water...who cares. But taint my scotch?!? That would be a true travesty!
buy a meter that measures in a smaller unit
Это шедеврально. Вам нужно Арт галерею открыть в стиле Loft
Nicely made love it,
a question though, wouldn't the brass tarnish the taste of the whiskey ?
Or could you do a lining of some sort of food grade sealer and let dry properly before use?
Did you use a silver solder for the tubing.
Yes
Is the meter necessary if you dont want to put liquor in it?
Whats was the point to take meter apart? Is it so the glass doesn't crack while you weld or what?
Andrius Pileckis the plastic parts would melt. Plus he can clean it while it's apart.
Andrius Pileckis The point is to change its measurement readings, by technical characteristics (the first counter), it shows 200 ml one division, I put it 45 ml per division so that you can measure portions of whiskey.
Fantastic, but way beyond my skill level.
Is it safe to drink from Brass pipe??
This is awesome! I was just wondering, Do you have to clean the pipes out with anything prior to pouring?
Normally no brass is used in drinking water so mabey give it a quick rinse with some water otherwise you are good
Love your Work
Thanks for Sharing
Question for you:
Do you Copper Plate your Plumbing Material?
Eyy makes me happy to be a plumber and know the names of every part you used!
Is that a lathe backplate as the base??
What is the glass cylinder that the alcohol goes into
Hi, great job, as usual! You are fantastic. I have a question, where do you buy materials for your great operas! Thanks and continue like this!
Thank you! All my materials I buy in local stores for plumbing
Thanks, unfortunately i don't have chance ro find a flanges, do you know some sites where i can order? Thanks again
I think on eBay you can find everything, Something else, I can not advise.
SPETTACOLARE!
Where do you buy the meter? I see a lot of your videos have these and they are really cool looking.
Thank you! Brand of water meter "Maddalena", I buy it at local stores, website: www.maddalena.it/en/products/residential-use/cd-one-trp/9
Plastic cover I peel off.
SUPER !!!
After watching you pour out a whole 300ml glass of whiskey, which is roughly 12 units. I understand now why the meter measures in cubic metres.
