Von Smith is very Freddie Mercury-esq; his tonality is very dramatic, but soothing. He one of the best and highly underrated and unheard artists of our time. I honestly hope he gets the chance to be heard and appreciated.

You missed his insane B4 from his performance of Home. For me it's the best note he's ever hit. Either that or his D5 from Piece of Sky. I think the B4 sounds better, but he holds the D5 for a ludicrous amount of time.

Just to let you know he is not “belting” anything above at most a C#4 or D5. This is still incredible range. Everything else is just a very powerful falsetto. If you listen carefully you can hear the transition. He also uses falsetto for C4 in some of these clips when singing lighter songs. Still an incredible voice, but the title here is a bit misleading. “Belting”is typically considered to be chest/head voice, not falsetto.

Não tem nada a ver com classificação, e sim, treinamento muscular das pregas vocais para maior elasticidade. Ele tem o timbre bem mais pesado que o meu. Para você ter uma ideia, já que você citou nomenclatura lírica, dentro do lírico, eu sou considerado um tenor lírico leggero/ leggero; ele, devido a coloração vocal e peso, poderia ser considerado um Spinto - devido a grande consistência (firmeza, peso) nos graves. Isso é só uma ideia; não se tem como ser preciso aqui. :)
