AMAZING!!!! What a range and superior control of his vocals. I listened to his rendition of "Music of the Night". I like the original better, and yet that is not to take away from his performance of the song. Also AMAZING. I don't think I have hated anything he's done.
@TheKmoffett: It's him... you may hear it termed 'whistle register'. Not many vocalists can do many fluctuations in that mode. Another with 5+ octaves and fluctuating whistle register is Rachelle Farrell.

A whistle note is more or less this REALLY open and HIGH head voice that for most guys starts at about an A5 (that's 2 As above middle C, or 880 Hz.), and for girls, it starts about a perfect 5th higher. The whistle register can take the fully developed human voice to the end of the keyboard and higher. The highest note ever hit was probably somewhere around a C9, but on record, it's at an E-flat 8.
In my opinion, I think this is probably the hardest song in Stripped. Accidentally heard this cover bcus c'mon, do you see any guys doing this cover. Von is super super super super talented, I was hoping he would drown in the song but every now and then he hit a high note and it was saved. Though I thought the arranging could do better, SUPPORT!

@MrButler124 Well, Adam Lopez has an E-flat 8, Georgia Brown was stricken from the record for not actually proving that she hit a G10. Her highest note was a G8. And whistle is totally based on the person, I'm just giving general stats from my experience.
