    Great video!
I ride a Mastiff 250 since 2022 with no technical or other problems and I´m still in love with her.
    They are fantastic little bikes.

I have had an Akita All Black 125 since February of this year and I am very happy. It's a fantastic bike!!

The first bike I bought to get me back into motorcycling was a Mutt Mongrel 250. I loved the bike, had no issues with it and it got loads of attention wherever I went. They’re a very cool brand👌

I sure it’s an interesting presentation. Unfortunately, the soundtrack had me ditch it at two minutes in…

Yes, it's kind of weird, it made me feel physically nauseous for some reason. I turned the vol right down and did watch the video through though. You can't please everone etc, but sometimes no-one is pleased either.
Well presented video aesthetically though, with slick artistic panning etc.

@@onanysundrymule3144 I guess with advancing years there’s only so much of my remaining time that I’m prepared to tolerate discomfort! The consequences of survival I suppose….

I've got to be honest, I got my full licence a few years ago purely based on the MUTT Akita 250, which I thought & still think is a great looking bike as well as the other specs in the MUTT range. But sadly, when I passed then the options opened up to a bigger capacity engine. If only they would do a 500cc+ with the same designs.

I had a 125 back in 2015 before I passed my full test. Not fast or powerful, but very good handling. Bloody noisy with a straight through exhaust. I had to fit some baffles from a breakers yard, because I was doing a milk round that started at 10pm. Good little bikes.

A local lad had one . all the stiching in the saddle broke up then the saddle let in water. There just crate bikes.

the styling is beyond top notch - the horror stories i have heard are also top notch...they need some time and to make sure after sales service gets the attention the styling does and then they will be flying, i would love one if they did a 500, i would buy a 500 in a heartbeat if they could guarantee after sales service...

I was talking to them about how many comments I get of people asking for 400 and 500 scramblers....it is a 'watch this space' situation.

Interesting factory heritage Mark! What engine is used on the current range & where is their origin? What is the maximum capacity of their engines? Are these motorcycles available in other countries?
Thanks for highlighting this company. ⭐

    • @motorsforthemasses
      @motorsforthemasses  3 месяца назад +1

@stevesanelli90 Their 125 air cooled tend to be GN motors, the 125 LC are Longsheng engines, used in so many bikes. The 250 LC is CFMoto.

I had one of these. Absolute piece of sh*t! Brand new. Had it 11 months. Spent 4 of them being fixed. Couldn't sell it. Mutt didn't want to know. Eventually, after waiting for months, and getting fixed AGAIN. I refused to take it back. Oh! And don't think I was just unlucky, my horror story is extremely common. Total junk! DO NO BUY ONE OF THESE! I lost a tonne of money and was left totally embittered. The dealership I bought my next bike (after passing my test). Wouldn't take it as a trade in and the dealership I bought it from doesn't sell em anymore. Eventually, they bought it back off me. £1600. The best offer I got on the net was £700. Lousy Chinese junk! 😞

save yourself the headache and don't buy a mutt motorcycle. i've had my fat sabbath 2022 for 2 years now, and it's been a constant nightmare of repairs and breakdowns. the problems started within six months of owning it, and it's been a constant cycle of repairs ever since. it's clear that the quality of their bikes is extremely low, bordering on unacceptable. i'm confident that if i were to sell this bike, no one would buy it due to its consistent problems and the constant need for repairs. it's frustrating to deal with easily busted turn signal lights, faulty wiring, especially for automatic or abs brakes, spark plug and starter issues, and now sensor and injector problems, to name just a few. the technicians are reliable, but the bikes themselves are not. mutt motorcycles needs to seriously address the issues with their models before anyone else gets stuck with a lemon.

The "factory" or rather 'Assembly Area' would not have been confidential, it never is - unlike R&D.
That makes me suspicious to start with. Secondly, is it an absolute, irrefutable, fact that the frame that you were impressed with was actually designed, and, very importantly in this case, 'Made in England' by/for 'MUTT' Motorcycles ?
Or are we once again talking about an imported OEM Chinese donor bike that has been 'customised' (very wide description) by 'MUTT' Motorcycles in their mysterious, confidential, 'Assembly Area' ? Nothing wrong with using a Chinese OEM bike as a donor bike - BUT - open honesty would be really good. Why don't 'MUTT' list/illustrate what is 'Made in England' by 'MUTT', which could be exciting and valid in themselves and then clarify what is actually being bought-in from China ? I know that there will be masses of "CNC" this and "CNC" that and "own design" mudguards and monogrammed wheel rims etc etc - but - again, open honesty please.

I think I was. I don't think I said the frame was made by Mutt in England. Frames are generally usually generic ones that are adjusted/modified and a lot of them are made in China, as the expense is that much less and as long as the QC is good enough the frames are good.
