That’s not a dirty play, it’s just a clever (I don’t think this particular play was clever) move Scottie would use all the time to prevent a defender from getting back on defense during a fast break. Good foul call by the refs, that’s a moving screen. It’s a good move if you can get away with it, but if the ref catches you, can’t complain cuz they’re right
Not a dirty play but i would say it’s kind of a cheap tactic. Also idk who was commentating this game but they don’t know what their talking about. If they call a foul on the floor it doesn’t matter if it has anything to do with the ball handler; it’s still a foul. When the ref declares a call everything after doesn’t count until the call if verified and the ball is back in play.
@@maryakopyan3224 can't really set a pick in that situation. Barkley was coming from behind and pippen didn't have enough time or space to react. What Scottie could of done was run infront and cut Barkley off without initiating contact.
It's stupid to give your teammate an unharrassed break away when you have a chance to do so? The call was stupid, as Pippen was already clearly in front of Barkley when he cut Barkley off. Barkley bumped into him cause he knew that if he ran around, he had no chance to catch Armstrong. He was too far behind the play to a probable chance of catching him even w/ a straight line to BJ. Pippen's position was established before the contact off a brilliant defensive play. This was so over-officiating, as you let that play go in that situation, unless Pippen just overtly does something to Barkley such as trip him. I was cheering for the Suns (they are my favorite team) in this series, and I was shocked (although happy) by that call.
I wish they still had NBA on NBC
That you call dirty? In that era?)
Damn I didn’t know barkley’s first year with the suns he brought them to the finals! Wow! That’s actually amazing
Kind of a cheap call by the refs.
The crowd was spectacular 🤣
It is not dirty, it is always taught in basketball to screen off the incoming defenders in a fastbreak
pippen saw where barkley was and ran into him and put a body block on him. it's a foul in any era.
Today's game that's a flagrant foul,ejection,two game checks,loss of shoe deal,can't see children for two days,SMH.
No it's not. Draymond Green would be suspended every game.
Stop exaggerating.

🤣🤣 Dirty play? Are you kidding me? That's a little bump. Lmao!
All because of Barkley's hustle.
Did you really type *dirty* play for the title of this clip?
Dirty foul from the apparent “rough” era
He simply stopped running and Barkley ran into him. Dirty play my ass.
no. pippen saw where barkley was and ran into him and put a body block on him. it's a foul in any era.
Its called tactics.....wasnt dirty because charles used to do much dirty than that....

Yeah, but that's what picks are for anyways. Terrible call.

Marv albert and magic johnson were the commentators if i recall...
Mike fratello made the comment on the foul...
but wait, i thought the game was much more physical back then

That was a weak call for that era , 2018 that would of been 30 day suspension
No it wouldn't have.
Ahaha stfu idiot you’re just upset because that era wasn’t as rough as you all fantasies it was
Barkley initiated the contact though...
Jordan got calls all day long please ☄🧨🔥⚡
Barkley wasn’t suppose to be the league mvp and he knows it
To 00.41mn at 00.45mn Chuck run so fast ! If pippen not foul on him I think after he block BJ Amstrong on the glass...
Yes suur
0:20 you see no chance he would catch him
Have you watched football?
Wow so dirty -_-
😂
That was not dirty
Lol that wasn’t dirty. Wasn’t even a foul come on
It had absolutely 0 impact on the result of the play. Even the announcers said that was horrible.
That was so soft
Wasn't much of a bump! Decent act job by an otherwise BAD actor Sir Charles WINER Barkley!
Terrible title for this video. "Dirty"??? Weak
DIRTY!!???????????????? thumbs down
Terrible call
Wasn’t dirty it was stupid
