As an out of state resident who recently visited Boston this is the first I’ve heard of this case. In just 3 days of observing testimony I have to say Mr Proctor is a sad excuse for a police officer. In addition, discussing Ms Read’s medical conditions was also disgusting! He’s a disgrace to the human race. Everyone that is the prosecution witness - all have confidence the judge will protect and she has shown that numerous times by sustaining during cross examination.
The only reason the conduct of these officers is coming into this trial is because it was a cop that was killed and there is so much corruption in this case, it’s scary to think that a normal person doesn’t have the ability to know fully the integrity of an investigation so how many times has evidence been planted and cops lied and pinned a crime on an innocent person in other cases, I’m horrified by this trial
It’s even better knowing he is still getting destroyed on the stand even though the judge is protecting him and the defense lawyer is unfazed. It doesn’t matter if objections are sustained, the jury still heard it

I know people have strong opinions in regards to the defense attorney's attitude here, but being a zealous defender of your client is a duty incumbent to a good defense lawyer and it seems he does a fair bit of work impeaching this witness.
