Technically the Dark Form from Shadow the Hedgehog (the game) was expanded upon with his Chaos Boost in Sonic 06. It gave him the same type of powers and boosts to his base form. The whole problem with scaling Shadow in general is the fact that he's simply accessing more of his power with Chaos Boost or taking off his Inhibitor Rings. Taking off two during the Mephiles fight gave him the boost similarly to 2 chaos emeralds. Mephiles used the 2 emeralds to power himself up prior to making the clones. It's the reason why Mephiles has that transformation. So removing 2 inhibitor rings allowed him to be easily more powerful than 2 chaos emerald amp'd Mephiles, and he's taken all 4 of them off before. First time being when using Chaos Control alongside Sonic to destroy the Biolizard and push back the Ark. It was shown in the Anime, i don't remember if it was like that in the game. Second time was after knocking Sonic out of his Super Form with a gut punch. Also in the Anime. It seems to give him the same relative "power amp" allowing his body to use all of his power, but the amp itself seeming to be comparable to 6 chaos emeralds. 1.5 per inhibitor ring. As he isn't as powerful as a Super Transformation, but he's damn near close. So technically all the fights that happen between Sonic and Shadow since he always keeps his inhibitor rings on Shadow is more powerful than Sonic. The only argument left is does that even matter. As they're always tired after they fight and basically at a stalemate before either one retreats or gets the upper hand so would the boost in power mean anything since it also drains his power faster. It could be like the Trunks Vs Cell fight where Trunks was Stronger, but so much slower it didn't matter in fighting Cell because he couldn't land a hit. But shadow isn't, Slower, and he does become faster while taking off his rings. At the same time Sonic isn't stupid enough to let Shadow easily land a hit while he's amp'd so again would it even matter.
Yeah it's more than likely that Shadow gains more raw stats than Sonic when he takes all his inhibitors off, but it wouldn't really matter in a fight between them because he also burns out super quickly while using them. Sonic would just fight defensively and outlast him, hence why Shadow tends to keep them on, even when they fight seriously. So Shadow at full power should scale above Sonic, but would lose anyways since he couldn't sustain that power long enough to close out a fight between them.

He only ever really seems to get serious when things are really dire, so it's hard to really gauge how much stronger than Shadow Sonic could be if he went all out right out the gate. Shadow probably still scales firmly above him with all inhibitor rings off, but we've seen a good example of how wacky Sonic's "serious" amp can get when he and Shadow both fought Emerl at the same time and got whooped, then Sonic fought a stronger Emerl and defeated him in 30 seconds. Sonic simply deciding to take a fight seriously is apparently enough of an amp to surpass him and shadow fighting together by several orders of magnitude (FOR SOME REASON). Shadow taking off only one ring would probably still be a huge amp, but Sonic would probably just try harder and match him again.

I would argue that sonic shadow and silver in super form should scale to 6D(obviously not as much as solaris) since just existing within the same dimension of solarias's true body without getting deleted out of existance while also being able to launch attacks at it is honestly good enough for all vedio game characters that are not dante or vergil let alone sonic ones.

I think you should do a video on Sonic Prime's scaling, as it has some interesting implications. Shadow, in his base form, with no emeralds or special techniques, beats a Prism Energy amped Sonic quite handedly. This implies that Shadow is notably stronger then Sonic at this point, and there's also the fact that Shadow is able to push past the walls of dimensions using his own power at least to some degree. It's hard to quantify how powerful that is, but it clearly is him putting his full effort into it and you can physically see the barrier bend under his power. He doesn't break it, but the fact that he can even make it bend like that tells me he's strong as hell.
In terms of Shadow's Inhibitor rings, he would beat Sonic if he took off at least the ones on his hands. I think they were stalemating their early fights. Yeah Shadow had 6 of the emeralds when he was fighting that GUN Commander and Sonic so he had an obvious advantage there. I’d say Sonic wouldn’t be definitively winning fights until around the Rivals games or unleashed based on feats. Even then it be high difficulty.

One thing that I don’t really see when comparing the super forms to machines that use the chaos emeralds is that in Frontiers a titan is usually fueled by ONE emerald and Sonic needs ALL SEVEN to surpass them. Keep in mind that the titans are basically running on backup or fumes when they face Super Sonic.
Hmm not bad. I would say Ultimate Emerl is still quantifiable, however. Eggman still destroyed more than a single star with his blaster and the Chaos Emeralds + Emerl should be above that as well as Emerl taking in its energy. There is no mention of the Final Egg Blaster having less power after it fired. Sure, Emerl lost his mind but it still took base Sonic defeating him in order for Emerl to suffer the consequences of his unstable state. Infinite's star size you can excuse as just game limitations for them not making it accurately dwarfing the entire solar system and write it off not instantly frying everything due to Phantom Ruby reasons or Infinite holding it back until Eggman gave the signal. Solaris isn't the end all be all for scaling Super Shadow, however, if Super Shadow and Super Sonic are still comparable to this day. We know it has long since been surpassed with Time Eater, Infinite and The End. All in all, good video! Glad you mentioned the inhibitor rings and the forms from Shadow the Hedgehog. Base Sonic characters scaling from Planet to Star level is fine for pre Generations, but during and post Generations, Sonic, Shadow and Silver and anyone that scales to them should be Uni+ Perfect Chaos has all 7 Chaos Emeralds amping him, and the Chaos Emeralds power during the Classic Sonic era timeline wise allows the Classic cast to be able to beat the Phantom King who created the infinite sized Egg Reverie Zone, space-time and all. Perfect Chaos should scale above the Classic cast as his forms scale to the Adventure Era cast, so him using all 7 Emeralds should be above anyone in Mania using all 7

Honestly sonic wins most of their encounters also i know people mention how shadow takes down sonic and the commander in some of the endings but you forgot he had six emeralds at that point sooo there that
I think they were stalemating their early fights. Yeah Shadow had 6 of the emeralds when he was fighting that GUN Commander and Sonic so he had an obvious advantage there. I’d say Sonic wouldn’t be definitively winning fights until around the Rivals games or unleashed based on feats. Even then it be high difficulty.

One thing that I don’t really see when comparing the super forms to machines that use the chaos emeralds is that in Frontiers a titan is usually fueled by ONE emerald and Sonic needs ALL SEVEN to surpass them. Keep in mind that the titans are basically running on backup or fumes when they face Super Sonic.

Hmm not bad. I would say Ultimate Emerl is still quantifiable, however. Eggman still destroyed more than a single star with his blaster and the Chaos Emeralds + Emerl should be above that as well as Emerl taking in its energy. There is no mention of the Final Egg Blaster having less power after it fired. Sure, Emerl lost his mind but it still took base Sonic defeating him in order for Emerl to suffer the consequences of his unstable state. Infinite's star size you can excuse as just game limitations for them not making it accurately dwarfing the entire solar system and write it off not instantly frying everything due to Phantom Ruby reasons or Infinite holding it back until Eggman gave the signal.
Solaris isn't the end all be all for scaling Super Shadow, however, if Super Shadow and Super Sonic are still comparable to this day. We know it has long since been surpassed with Time Eater, Infinite and The End.
All in all, good video! Glad you mentioned the inhibitor rings and the forms from Shadow the Hedgehog. You maybe could do a video on Emerl next on how busted he really is.

@@MohamedRamadan-qi4hl I will say in that part of the game Erazor Jinn had erased most of the world which was consider fictional in Sonic's world and Erazor was going to escape the Arabian Nights and go to Sonic's world to destroy and rewrite it, but Sonic damaged him during that state and defeated him as Darkspine Sonic. So I guess that scales above fiction.

Like you have shadow saying hes the only one capable of using its true power, but thatd make him universal if you take Radiant emerald from Sonic R into account cus its said to be a universe inside an emerald on the website.
plus the concept of the emeralds being able to turn thoughts into power means that their energy could be variable and change depending on the user.

Perfect Chaos has all 7 Chaos Emeralds amping him, and the Chaos Emeralds power during the Classic Sonic era timeline wise allows the Classic cast to be able to beat the Phantom King who created the infinite sized Egg Reverie Zone, space-time and all.
Perfect Chaos should scale above the Classic cast as his forms scale to the Adventure Era cast, so him using all 7 Emeralds should be above anyone in Mania using all 7

You know, I've figured something out without scaling. Sonic characters are usually Multiversal in Super Forms, but with some of the bullshit scaling, the Sonic series has a lot of the characters can be scaled to outroversal in base forms and don't ask me how I don't really understand it either.
