Thank you very much, seems like it's quite a solid product, so appreciate you making the video, I don't know if it's because of corona, that people are having a hard time getting it or something, since there is barely any videos. Hope you have a happy new year :)
@@MKDLMR Hello again, I was wondering... have you had any issues with it since? like plates dropping off, getting stuck or any other issues? because I've read in articles & reviews alike, there there are many who are experience such issues.
@@MKDLMR I see, thanks for the update :) Unfortunately, there isn't really any other product like it, there is the MXselect version, but it only goes to 36 kgs, which is ok, but it has no expansions and it doesn't seem like there is coming an upgraded version, so not sure what alternatives there is. I definitely know I don't want weight-plates all over the place, that I'm done with in my home-gym.
Solid video, I was waiting to see more content posted about the 2080. Thanks for this and the review you posted earlier. I ordered mine in November, expected in Feb
Thanks for the review. I think I may get it based on the speed and convenience. I work alot of rotating shifts and speed is important for me to get a nice 45 min to 1 hour workout. I have free weights but takes too much time switching out plates. I already have the dumbells with stand and they are awesome
Hello Sr, great video, thanks, but i have a question, when you select on each side 80 pounds, is 80 pounds on each side or 40 pounds on each side that sum 80? thanks
I have the Bowflex 1080 SelectTech Dumbbells. I upgraded from the 1052's which I had for many years (gave them a good home to a relative starting out. They still function perfectly.) I Love them...I would step over anyone's Grandmother to save them in a fire...LOL Have you used them? Also, since I can go up to 180lbs (90lbs per hand) do you think the Barbell is a necessity or just more of the same?
Any chance you could give me the exact measurement of the straight bar? Not the overall length but the actual bar itself between the adjustment knobs? I’m trying to determine if this would fit on a squat rack. Thank you in advance.
Appreciate the response and tip. I’m looking at something with rubber. Given the width is 40”, I won’t be able to use a half rack and will need to go to a squat rack that has an adjustable width to accommodate. Thanks again!
my apologies if this is a dumb question but is it possible to fit a low bench close enough to do bench press with this setup? I can't bench heavy so 120 is perfect.
Hey, are all of the plates the same size and weight? Like can they go in any particular order or does each one go into a specific slot? Are the upgrade plates any different than the ones it comes with? Thanks!
@@MKDLMR thanks for the response. Someone is selling one of these cheap cuz a few of the plates are damaged. So I was curious if I bought the upgrade set if I could use those to replace the damaged ones
@@MKDLMR thank you for your reply! So it took a little fenegling but one side I’d all the way forward and the other is about half, snd I just screwed them both into their positions.
I can’t justify the cost and it’s an eyesore. They should’ve modeled it exactly like the dumbbell system. Be nice if they just came out with a barbell that was adaptable to their dumbbells.
@@MKDLMR i seem to only have the issue when going off of the initial weight. i usually jus need to either pull the bar back up and adjust how im setting it down or push down a bit to make sure it locks. after i had 30 or 40 lbs to the bar, re-racking it goes smoothly.

@@MKDLMR Thanks for answer me, do you think taking the 120 upgrade could be good for benchpress, or it is too low?
I have a dumb question. When you set the weight for say 100, is the total weight 100 or 200? (100 each side)
This is nice I like it, but too expensive for the whole package.
Nice review and nice squat brah!
This was helpful. Thanks for posting this.
Wow thank you so much 😊 it really dose help to see the products being used.
Can’t get mind to work.. always has an extra plate on the left side when dialed correctly
I hear people complain about it not sliding right in, what's the big deal of Givin it a little push. People complain about everything.
@@MKDLMR just got mine still not able to align properly 🤯😡 will try again tomorrow 🙏
Is it good for dead lifts? I’d think you can’t drop the bar or plates.
I saw a set for $450 is this a good deal?
Which floor mats do you use? Do they hold up? Just purchased this bowflex, great video!

@Mark McAllister thanks for the reply. I ordered this as it was on sale at Walmart for 359.

Man your bar slides right into place, I feel like I have to shove mine in to hold. What am I doing wrong ?

Just picked this up, gonna put it together now.

Do the plates ever fall off?
@@MKDLMR Thanks for the reply friend, I'm looking into buying something like this.
Thanks for taking the time to film. Any regrets so far with the gear?
@@MKDLMR would you purchase it again?
nice video. does the height on the rack adjust at all? easy to add the 120lb add on?
@@MKDLMR i have issues racking, once its set no issues adjusting the weight tho. looks like ill be getting the upgrade kit. again, good video.
