  • Listen to two leading presidential experts provide real-time analysis on the 2020 presidential election throughout this four-part series. Each session will be different and follow the latest developments in the election. This series builds on a popular undergraduate course that Geer and Meacham teach along with other faculty, giving you a glimpse into the current student experience and some insight into this historic campaign.
    John Geer is the Ginny and Conner Searcy Dean of the College of Arts and Science at Vanderbilt University and a professor of political science. A regular commentator on national media outlets, he has published five books and more than 20 articles on presidential politics and elections. He also founded the Center for the Study of Democratic Institutions and co-directs the influential Vanderbilt Poll.
    Jon Meacham is an internationally renowned presidential historian, contributing writer to The New York Times Book Review, contributing editor at Time, and Pulitzer Prize-winning author. A frequent contributor on national media markets - especially MSNBC - he joined Vanderbilt in 2013 and now holds the Carolyn T. and Robert M. Rogers Chair in American Presidency.
