I feel that the term is quickly becoming obsolete, as the media landscape has fractured to the point where any kind of shared discussion on facts is rapidly disappearing. I'm listening to the book Losing the News, which is eerily prescient. In this election, failure is in fact not an orphan - Kamela's loss seems to have a million fathers. My personal believe is that the economy really was terrible for many (see the $100K up / down). I also didn't see much mention of CC Debt topping 1T (yes, trillion) and repos and bankruptcy filings increasing, too. Back to the news, what can be done to make sure everyone is working off the same fact sheet? Is this wishful thinking? How important is this? Hint: Jefferson was right (and he wasn't even an anarchist).
