I LOVE THIS!! I just took a pound of haggis out of the freezer so I can make this (here in the US). Maybe not tonight for Burns Night, but probably tomorrow. Thanks for posting, Cheryl!

Going to try this. It looks and sound delicious! ps Lived in Scotland all my days and never celebrated burns night (or known anyone who does), and never said or heard anyone say happy burns night/day!
It looks really beauty and mouth watering your haggis Wellington I would love to try just one slice of it but I just live alone with my cat smudge, I don't do much cooking anymore but I just love watching all your videos Cheryl because they're so Proffesional cooking love Andrea xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx
Oh my goodness ... I'd take that over the beef every time. What an inspired idea, but where am I going to get a haggis at this time of night? Never mind, they'll probably be reduced tomorrow. :-) Thank you very much, and warm wishes for Burns' Night.
Oh my word Cheryl that looks superb. I absolutely love haggis and (mashed butter turnips) ours are just that, white not cream of colour, however still delicious 😜. Haggis hard to come by here though😫 love your recipe thank you for sharing 👌🏴🇿🇦
I have eaten Haggis, - I think. I am sure I have seen it for sale in a Supermarket. Yours looked to be without the Sheep Stomach and there was no Skirl o the Pipes. I looked for a suitable example to give a link on RUclips but while there were plenty, not the full band I was looking for. But it occurs to me that your method could use other fillings. Wonderful imagination.

Happy Burns night Cheryl and family. Your haggis Wellington looks so good, something that could possibly get my family interested in haggis? Maybe. 😄 Like my late mum, I am allergic to whiskey. If I had a sip of whiskey I would instantly have a migraine, feel dizzy and very nauseous. So, I tend to toast the bard with a glass of Irn Bru. 😄 I hope you have a good evening.👍
omg how i miss haggis, neeps and taties! the idea of turning it into a wellington is brilliant, thank yew! i only wish they sold haggis in the markets here in the US 💔
If you are in the United States, Scottish Gourmet in NC or Ackroyd's Scottish Bakery in MI both sale USDA approved haggis. They ship anywhere in the US.
This sounds amazing! Wish I knew where I could find some haggis (preferably without resorting to Amazon coz bezos sucks 😅) I’ve yet to bump into it at local stores

Cheryl brilliant idea I will definitely make it this year I have my own way of making haggis as in Canada you can’t get real h@ggys or people to try I make mine with pork steel cut a Oates beef and lamb and chicken and the usual spices no guts or ofal every one that tries it loves it wi lashings o gravy love your videos still using yer pie recipe for scotch pies I even got the spring form moulds ta hen
Would love to try a traditional Haggis but it is illegal to import at least some of the ingredients even if they are already prepared. I am in the U.S.A.
This is the first time I’ve ever given a ‘thumbs down’ for any video (having written this I’ve taken away the down and will leave it as neutral). I love yours so much I usually hit the thumbs up before I’ve even seen the video. In this case I’m not happy. Haggis. My understanding is that it’s sheeps stomach stuffed with offal (heart, liver and lung) and barley with seasonings at its most basic. When I saw the title of the video I was delighted; whom better to learn about real haggis, (albeit ‘Wellington’; I figured I could extrapolate the basics and then not wrap it in pastry and bake it), than from a Scottish lass??!! When I saw prepackaged haggis I felt ‘betrayed’ for want of a better word. You always impress but not this time for this old boy.

Cooking your mushrooms in a dry pan will draw the moisture out faster. Add a knob of butter when it's dry and it'll plump it back up.

I've seen it at local Scots festivals, but have only had it in Scotland
Great Chieftain o' the Puddin' Race!
Tailford butcher, best haggis about
Big massive plate for me

Thanks for this haggis video. I love haggis! Also I did I notice an engagement ring on your hand? Congratulations!
Looks beautiful and tasty! We can’t have Haggis in US but lovely recipe I can adapt. Thanks ! Nice presentation 🤤
This looks amazing. It makes me wish that 1) we could get real Haggis here in the USA, and 2) my wife wasn't allergic to mushrooms.
Oh well I know what I'm having this weekend! ♥️♥️
Looks delicious Cheryl! Happy Burns Night! BTW, lovely ring you’re wearing….was that a Christmas Present?

I would taste haggis but I can't get it here in Australia. Looks lovely

I much prefer Haggis made by "Halls" it's not so peppery as the brand used here. But, its just personal preference at the end of the day.

Ackroyd's is outside Detroit, Redmond or something like that. They ship. I get their ads every time I watch Cheryl's videos! 😆
Have you ever put carrots with your swede? In slices not mashed. Honestly they can't take their eyes off of each other they get along so well. 🤪
