- In today's Episode of Dwayne N Jazz we react to The Batman 2022 and this movie is set in a time where Bruce Wayne has been Batman for only 2 years and he is trying to figure out what the Riddler is up to, while we also get introduced to Catwoman, The Penguin, and a surprise enemy towards the end!

The adrenaline shot that he gave himself, I thought it might've been a pre-BANE toxin injection. Like how Batman used in the Teen Titans vs the Justice League to keep himself from being taken over by Trigons demons.

Man Jazz how you gonna give a movie 8/10 over two slow scenes and a laugh 😭. Man it’s whatever the movie was definitely a 9/10 for me. I hopeful to see the future with this version of Batman.

I have been a lifelong fan of Batman in everything from the movies, to the awesome cartoons, to the video games, to the comics, and honest to god I have never been as terrified of the dark knight as I was in this movie. He truly is VENGEANCE!!
Also Paul Dano should get nominated for an Oscar for his Riddler.

Yeah, that was the vibe they were going for with the Riddler, the "Before The Batman" prequel novel does a great job of setting up this version of Riddler, especially with the guy who does the audiobook version on Audible. Was a fantastic movie, that post credits scene was so not worth staying for though 😂

THIS IS ABSOLUTELY A MUST SEE MOVIE! it has a dark, noir tone, there were SO many badass scenes, especially the fighting sequences! it seriously has EVERYTHING a Batman fan could ask for, it was so captivating, it kept me on the edge of my seat, and I didn't even realize it has been 3 hours by the time it ended! 😂 all of the actors did absolutely phenomenal! 👏 really hope they will make a sequel for this amazing film! it's more than just a 10/10, it's a 10000/10! seriously, PLEASE go watch this masterpiece when you can! this is one of the BEST Batman movies ever created! Batman fans will absolutely LOVE IT!!! 💕🥰
I like that they started this series with young Batman, reckless and full of emotion and they show it many times in the movie and he reminds me a lot of most robins. I’m so existed to see this Batman develop even more and the things they might bring into

Again, like the title of this video, Spoilers if you haven’t seen the movie………………….………..Obviously, no one can beat Mark Hamill’s Joker laugh, but I actually thought the Joker’s laugh (played by Barry Keoghan) in here wasn’t too bad. It still has that maniacal laugh, but still the actor’s own flavor. I personally like it better than Leto’s Joker laugh, which is fine if others liked Leto’s laugh as well. But hey. To each their own. Overall, I LOVED The Batman. It had so many comic book vibes and Telltale Game vibes (while still being its own thing), and I dug it. Everyone did their part.
I’m glad it wasn’t just me that got tell tale vibes from this movie

Literally loved how Batman hunted down criminals like he was an apex predator. Not to mention I liked how the riddler was paralleled with the zodiac killer as well. Overall cinematography, fights, and plot was absolutely outstanding 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I feel embarrassed for forgetting this was out. I hate how school does that sometimes.
With the double back scene and the weapon. Batman is hella smart right so he’s been able to figure all the riddles out. He didn’t get that one because he didn’t know what the weapon was. It was a labor weapon and Batman has lived a privileged life. The riddler expected him to know what the weapon was and once the other cop told him what is was he was able to figure it out immediately. This is going back to the riddlers whole “Bruuuce Waynnne” scene right before and how he hates Bruce Wayne because he is privileged.
10/10 movie for me, I LOVED it! 😍

Mark Hamill's Joker laugh is iconic, true, but I also feel like his laugh wouldn't fit with the tone of this Batman story. We've heard his laugh in animated series, animated movies, and video games, and it fits so well with those mediums because those mediums have always had a fantastical element to them. No matter how grounded and realistic they tried to be, that element of fantasy was always there. And I feel like that's why his laugh fit so well in those, because his laugh is kind of exaggerated/animated.
This Batman in comparison has relatively less elements of fantasy in it. I don't think Mark Hamill's Joker laugh would mesh well with it.

Saw the movie yesterday and it was amazing!! I have absolutely no regrets about seeing this movie. 10/10, and the actor playing Joker is Barry Keoghan, he played Druig in Eternals if you don’t know him from any projects he’s been in
I believe the cop that recognized the murder weapon was not part of the investigation team, he was standing guard outside. Loved the review though, guys

I was one of the people who assumed this movie would be a masterpiece. The trailers gave off Se7en/Zodiac vibes & I was here for it. I figured even if it didn’t match The Dark Knight in quality, it would at least be nearly as loved as Joker.

I personally love this film I think it's the best live action Batman film since The Dark Knight and does it have some flaws yes of course every masterpiece has flaws No Way Home had flaws and so did The Dark Knight but The Batman while it does have flaws it's barely noticeable the acting is great Robert Pattinson might be my favorite Batman after Kevin Conroy I think The Batman is one of the best comic book films ever made

About the murder weapon, that specific cop didn’t see the weapon when it was introduced. He only saw it in his apartment
The reason why that murder tool wasn't said the first time they were there was because the scene with Catwoman criticizing "wealthy, rich white people" needed to take place, as the reason why Bruce couldn't solve something like that is because he's wasn't raised as down on the ground like others, which was Riddler's criticism as well.
BATMAN didn’t want to solve that in front of the police because he thinks the Riddler knows his identity and he didn’t want that revealed

Robert Pattinson said in an interview that matt reeves wanted Kurt cobain to be a little bit of inspiration for this batman so that’s why I guess this batman was a little more gritty side and when Bruce would come out he was a little on the emo side too I think

The thing I LOVE about this movie is Batman's point of view. He says to himself right at the beginning that maybe the city can't be saved, and maybe he can't actually help anyone. But he has to try.
Also this movie really feels like a sequel to "Joker" at times, even though it isn't

One of my only few complaints about this movie is that it was too dark to see at a ton of points. IDK if it's because we saw it at an outdoor movie theatre, but there were a bunch of scenes where I barely saw what was going on. I'll definitely rewatch it when it is released on a streaming platform.

Some have pointed this out but about it being maybe Two Face and not the Joker. At first I thought it was Two Face as well but if they are perceiving most characters to be around the same age…he wouldn’t have been Two Face that early on in Batman’s career because wasn’t he like a long time politician before he actually became Two Face?

loved how grounded it was, the story had so many smaller plot points which connected into the bigger picture seamlessly, the acting was superb, the riddler is now my fav live action villain, the movie made me actually like and care for selina kyle for the first time, the mystery had me hooked and i’m still wondering who killed Bruce’s parents
really hope for a The Batman 2, such an amazing film, saw someone say this wasn’t a comic book movie but rather a graphic novel adaptation, i couldn’t agree more, such complex plot
i’d give it a 9/10, the only reason i’m not giving it a 10/10 is because of a nitpick really, there’s just something about the suit that looks off. Like he just looks so stiff, his neck rarely moves and his chest and abdomen parts of the suit look kinda shaped weird, idk how to say it lol, jus a small nitpick
