Careful getting your plates in these videos g I made that mistake and got nicked. Used to make crazy videos back in the day, they managed to get my plate off a reflection in a shop window
Awesome race! I live in Australia and have a 2017 Audi TT S-Line, and boy I’ve wanted to see this race against Golf for so long as I’ve always wondered. I love taking off in TT, and especially as the car is just a work of art. Great race!!
There's your 4wd transmission loss. And thanks for completing the race I've wanted for ages. The TT only ever goes up against the Cayman and Z4. I'd love to see the Golf R VS at TTS
I'd love a track test involving the TT with any other car. And btw the transmission loss shouldn't be too much without the Haldex engaging. It's just on3 additional driveshaft spinning.
@@fegbsc9564 I can ask you the same thing? It looks like you replied to the wrong comment? I know the Mk7 is faster than the Mk6, I never made a comment about performance. I spoke about my preference for analogue dials over digital. I wanted a Mk7 as it's nicer than the 6 but the cost made me compromise. I bagged a 62 plate, full history, 2 owners, fantastic condition for £8k. Yes I may have got an early high mileage 7 but from previous experience of buying an early model car (beta model) I will only buy the last of the run so all issues are ironed out..

From a stand still, TT will kill that GTI
No he won’t, not with my launch control and with my 300 bhp he has no chance
Well it’s been remapped now not in that video *
@@modsuk7049 i would with my gti, 400bhp destroying scat packs in my mk5
To the modders: they have tunes for TT too.
@@modsuk7049 Never seen A golf of any kind do low 2's lol

Oh! I totally recognise that roundabout, a bit south of Dorking right?
The audi it's just prettier
Beautiful cinematic scenes!
I'll take the TT thanks
I am a massive fan. Ford mustang vs Focus RS next video?
Carter Drummond we’ll have to arrange it!
If it that tt was running stage 2 the golf would be dust in the rear view mirror, So must both be stock
Tt fwd or quattor and both dsg?
Both DSG. TT was Quattro
Digital dials are soooooo fucking ugly. That's why I got a Mk6 GTi. A Mk7 is the cut off for me. Unless you can retro fit Mk7 dials into a 7.5-8 dash
Mk6 is slower than MK7 what are you talking about?

Most MK7 GTIs have regular gadgets. I have a 2019 and it doesn’t have digital.
Gauges****
Most MK 7.5 are analogue...Still I own and preffer MK 7
