ABOUT ME
I’m 32 years old and I’m a sheep farmer from Ayrshire in South West Scotland, which is why I have such a strong accent! I was born and raised on a sheep farm watching my dad who was the shepherd.
At 18 I went away from farming to work in the city (something I still do) and at 23 (2013) I decided I wanted to do something for some extra money so I went on a sheep shearing course. The hardest thing I’ll ever do was learning to shear sheep. [shudders thinking about it]
I shore whilst on my holidays from work for 2 years and then in 2015 my dad died so I decided to get my own sheep so I could continue working with sheep as it was something I loved doing. From there it escalated quickly from my first 4 sheep in my mum’s garden to now running around 850 breeding ewes.
I shore over 19,000 sheep this season in the UK and have my own shearing run which lets you see many different farms in the summer months.
A few years ago I bought myself a sheep pregnancy scanner and have been building up my run since then.
I watched a few farm vlogs on RUclips and decided I could have a go and now here we are!
Thanks for watching my videos and please subscribe if you want to see more in future.
I’ll never forget when people kept parking in the yard of my brother in law’s Sheep farm in Wales. My nephew backed his tractor right up to the back of the car so they couldn’t back out. When they returned from their ‘walk’ it was so amusing watching them! The farm is in the middle of nowhere. I feel your pain.
One of the farmers in my village puts up pictures of sheep mauled by dogs on his gates…not nice to see, but it gets the message across loud and clear. My dog has grown up walking the lanes next to livestock fields and doesn’t even blink at them, but he still goes on the lead every time, at the end of the day he’s an animal and they’re all unpredictable 🤷🏻♀️
Yup, same. All it takes is for them to me too close to the threshold one day and not listen to you. We don't have too many sheep where I am, but lots of horses. I've worked really hard on desensitisation and my dog doesn't bat an eyelid now but she still gets put in a calm sit and clipped on the lead when one goes by, There is no way I could live with myself if anything happened
When I used to trail ride my horses, invariably an unleashed dog would run straight at them and the owner would say "It's okay ..my dog likes horses." Mine were more upset about bikes being where they didn't belong, but a friend had a Thoroughbred that hated dogs. She would respond that maybe their dog liked horses but her horse didn't like dogs and could easily kick their dog into their next life!
Cammie, can you get a story onto local news about the impact of dogs on sheep? Does your region have a local news channel? I've got to think that if more people simply knew/understood the negative impact of their dogs on the livelihoods of shepherd-families that they'd be more careful.
excellent idea-- even a short little blog snippet will do since most news is now with internet links
That would be great... and I try to be a positive person... but I doubt it'll make much of an impact if any at all. People who are already dismissive like the man from yesterday, or apologize but don't seem to "get it" will do the same thing again and again because they don't think about anyone else but themselves and/or people closest to them. I wish it wasn't that way, but from what I've seen, people are mostly oblivious to how their seemingly "innocent ignorance" could cause problems for others.
@@kerseykrewzoo exactly like the lady today it seemed like why are you so mad I said I'm sorry, sorry doesn't cut stressing out the sheep and making them all move around the field for you when you shouldn't be in it in the first place isn't acceptable and they think it is just fine or a bit of crack to them
@@WovenWilderness well if she gave them some crack at least Cammy knows what she looks like.
Targeting places that dog owners have to visit like Veterinary centres, pet food shops, groomers etc would be a good idea. In the olden days they used to do public information adverts on TV to educate about these kind of things. Not the same audience figures these days.
The problem is that “Common Sense is not all that Common” . Good luck Cammy and thank you for the videos. Love from Canada❤️🇨🇦
Kevin bloody Wilson song
I've said for years that there is no such thing as common sense. If there was, there'd be no need for health and safety laws.
What there IS though, is a metric fuck tonne of common stupidity. For proof, ask an A&E nurse. 😂
"This is why there are so many workplace accidents on farms" Cammy you are just hysterical. I love the farming general daily life videos. Marissa is fantastic.
He makes me chuckle
Unfortunately, the general public are rude everywhere. I live in the US and our neighbors decided to shoot fireworks over my horse pasture. Another time we looked out to see a group of people throwing stones at the horses to watch them run. Needless to say, we eventually had to reconfigure our pasture away from the road. We lost grazing, but the horses were safer. I’m sorry for your lamb losses.
Seriously, I have the same issue with chickens. Believe it or not I caught some kids harassing them well on my property. What the heck is wrong with people!!
AW man that stinks for everybody because all the bad people will make farm/ranch owners automatically pull out their arms when simple good people just got lost and want directions to get back to the highway or a gas station, 🥺
Lost the Plot is correct! The US is mad as well!
😢
Yes!! All those on my farm too, plus Chinese lanterns floating over my barn were i keep hay in the loft above the stalls..I ended up moving altogether.
Good for you Cammie. It is mind blowing to me that a dog owner is STUPID enough to believe their dog is that well trained that it will come to them when the dog is in hunting mode. We had 2 collie lurchers and we used to go Into a field where sheep and lambs were and even though our dogs knew they weren't allowed to chase (and they never did )but it was OUR responsibility to keep our dogs on a lead and we ALWAYS had our dogs on a lead while we were walking our dogs there
Actually Cammie’s dogs have good recall. My dog and people in my group who show our breed dog have good recall. It is one of the very and most important things to keep your dog safe in the event day your leash breaks, or he escapes your fenced yard… obedience is part of CKC or AKC and classes are given. That said, we do follow the rules where we live, all dogs on leash. When out hunting with your dog in the woods you get your dogs to come back with the duck. We don’t use our retrievers for hunting purposes but others do. If hiking dogs can be off lead ( if you have well mannered dogs ), and trust your dog to stay on the trails with you and not run away. She never run across farm fields as much of the farm fields here in 🇨🇦 are fenced however we do have Wild Critters wolves, coyotes and foxes that will get over or under a fence. Generally here on the east coast of Canada, it’s Dairy Cattle and Beef Cattle with a few fields of sheep. The local Sheep Farm next to me, he keeps the sheep in his barn most of the winter and in the spring has them out in his fenced field, of course with lambing and all and in summer into fall he has a grazing pasture on some little island. I used to walk on leash, my old Golden Retriever Abby RIP, by there every so often as she was entertained with the animals, she had countless sheep stuffed animals as well as alpaca and llama stuffies. I miss Abby RIP you know sometimes you get a real good dog and when they’re gone..
Recall is for your dog’s safety. Always taught inn Obedience Classes one of the most if not the most, because even if your dog was on leash and the lease broke and he ran into traffic!!! I had a leash break in class one day. Does happen. So if this older man had good recall with his dog, he could’ve kept them from Cammie’s field. There are dogs that will NEVER have got recall. Those definitely need to be on leash for the dog’s protection (traffic) and for protection from some other animal (skunk, porcupine, dog) or a child afraid of dogs for example
@@thisoldnurse1521no matter how good you “Think” your dogs recall is, if you are in a “Public” place, ALL dogs should be on a leash, ALWAYS!
Why should I not be able to take my grandson for a walk in the countryside or in the woods because some inconsiderate dog owner thinks they have priority over said areas to walk their dogs off leash.
My Grandson is scared of dogs, any dog coming towards him will cause him to panic and scream. I’m sick to death of owners saying “it’s ok, he won’t hurt you”. EVERY dog that approaches him is a threat to him.
If I was to walk around in public, with a loaded weapon, cocked and ready, I would be perceived as a danger and would be arrested. Same principle should apply to an unrestrained dog that’s out in public.
The pride on Jocks face when Lizzy told him, "Good job," was adorable!!! Ugh!!! He is so absolutely adorable!!
P.S. I don't even know if we have that type of hammer in the US. I think we just use a sledgehammer for these types of jobs. I'm not a farmer, though. I've never seen one before. 😊
Jennifer isn't Jock smart for his young age! Already helping with chores👏 I used to care for my grandson and asked if he wanted to help at Storytime at the Library. He helped push chairs back, pick up craft supplies and I used to ask him to fetch a wayward child (they don't get mad if a child takes their hand and brings them back!) He is the best helper to this day. I love it when kids help❤️
I live in Somerset, a local farmer had laminated pictures of his sheep that had been savaged by dogs and put them up on the stiles on the footpaths. I would never let my dog off the lead where there are livestock but it certainly made me think and I’d happily challenge anyone who ignored their warnings. That was a few years ago and I still think about the damage that was done to the poor sheep, people just don’t think their lovely pet would inflict such damage. Anyway, I love your videos!❤️
i have own big dogs all my life, german shepards, mastiffs, rottis, and they have all been very well trained, with great recalls but they are still dogs, and when a deer or a sheep are near they are unpredictable and their 'Cave dog' behaviour comes out.
i use shock collers for just this instance and the dogs are trained on to respond to the lowest level of shock which is a small tingle when applied to a human and they have never ever chased a sheep or animal, or ran off a cliff chasing an animal ans they cannot ignore the coller.
dogs need training people, they also need treating like dogs and not your children,
irresponsible dog ownership is not acceptable
@@mikeyp685 absolutely, I’ve always had sight hounds and terriers - not fair on them not to be under control as their instinct to chase is always lurking under the surface no matter how well trained they are!!
This is my favorite channel. You're videos usually post in the morning in New York State, and it's such a great way to start the day. I also work with dogs, and anyone who let's a dog off leash without a solid recall is crazy. It's dangerous and irresponsable. If you value your dog, keep it on a lead!
I love seeing a passive aggressive sign/note knowing the people it’ll annoy are usually the ones it’s aimed at
Looks like your first repaired fence blocked a trail. Might also help to add a few loops of barbed wire after planting a row of stinging nettle on the forest side 😅
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAMMY 🎂🍷🏒🎉. Love the idea of the notice Cammy…..seems like humans need one for them too!!!😡 It’s a global problem Cammy not just Scotland. ❤️🇦🇺🏴
Happy Birthday, Cammy!! I had a real problem with snowmobilers coming through the grain field, up to my sheep barn and then around the tree line and to the opposite side of the barn, effectively running my ewes from one side of the barn to the other, bashing into each other. A few aborted their lambs. I took photos of an aborted lamb made signs and posted them right under the no trespassing signs, where these people were accessing the property. Maybe you should ask if you can post a photo of your dead lamb and the dog that killed it at the local pet food store. When these idiots then took another route, running my horses and they aborted foals, I got the police involved. They were nice enough to park a defunct police car at the end of my driveway. Best snowmobile repellent, ever!
I hope your finger heals soon Cammy…..Lizzy is such a hard worker, such an asset
Cammy I hope you are keeping that Valkyrie on! She did a great job with that maillet!
I’m enjoying Lizzie Game journals, too.
Thank you and Blessings of Abundance and more thoughtful neighbors ❤
YESSSSS. Passive aggressiveness if the best reaction in my opinion! Love your idea of putting up signs (especially out of arm's reach and that it's so massive).
I like the trail cam idea!
I mentioned putting up trail cams the other day to monitor predator activity, but this sounds WAY BETTER! lol
Yeah, my concern is that they are NOT going to understand the sign.
I would have said, "Please keep your dogs on leash."
@@ORSkie Yeah, tho the problem is with making it blunt that people get offended and purposely unleash their dogs.
I think the safest way to get rid of the problem is by saying either of these on the sign:
1) Rat poison found on trail, please keep dogs on a leash.
2) Sheep guarddog in nearby area, free roaming dogs on paddock are at risk of injury or worse.
Neither 'demand' anything from entitled idiots but both give reason enough to keep dogs on a leash.
Tho i bet with both you'd have idiots calling the cops to complain...
‘Rat poison found on trail’ is a good one. Take a sealed packet of it, place it on the trail, wait 5 seconds, “find” it, message is entirely truthful though no risk involved 😉. Could even video it all as proof in case some entitled idiot complains.
You have the patience of a Saint when dealing with these people. There’s no words to describe the lack of respect and absolute ignorance that they display for people’s property and the lives of the livestock. Awesome video, really liked your humour! Lol
Thanks for the entertainment!! I love your sense of humor. The documentary signs are a great idea, hopefully it will have a positive effect and keep the dogs on leash. Jock is becoming quite the little helper, so cute. I laughed at Lizzie's "oops" while milking the ewe😊. Some people are rude and I think COVID has exacerbated rudeness, people were isolated and didn't have to be as social. We are starting a sheep and goat farm this spring and we will have livestock guardian dogs, not only for the coyotes but for the irresponsible, rude people as well. And yes, we will have signs posted warning of the dogs and the electrified fencing. Keep up the good work!
Most definitely! Also being allowed to behave however you feel or want on social media without repercussions, people have brought that attitude into the real world. They’ve forgotten all about respect and common courtesy.
Make sure to tell any city friends not to bring their dogs to your farm. My friend had to shoot one goat and vet another due to a german shepherd loose in a truck box.
Happy birthday Cammy. The world is a strange place. People do not care about anything, only themselves. Absolutely crazy playing football in a field with lambs and sheep.
THE Yes! I only started watching your channel recently and I love it. Thank you so much for your videos. Love from Ohio.
I love Lizzie's input and that she's less camera shy now! 😊And I also love the way she says "Wee"...she's truly becoming one of us Cammy! 🤣😂 Happy Birthday! 😃
Hi. I have three rescue dogs that I walk all over the countryside and they are never off their leads. The amount of dogs that I see just left to do their own thing while so called responsible owner saunters along a couple hundred yards back astounds me. I don't think it's lack of knowledge I think too many people think that the rules don't apply to them. Keep up the great work. Just came across your channel, going to be a regular watch from now on.
Been loving your videos for a long time now, just a silent lurker waiting for the next sheep adventure. I live in Ohio and am an alumni of The Ohio State University so seeing you wear the hat made me smile. Love your videos!!!
😂 three cheers to Scottish humour. Well done Cammy.
I have CCTV signs up. Scares the crap out of Germans 😄
I suggested trail cams, but maybe there’s a Wi-Fi option to monitor the fields 24/7 from home? I know here in the US we have that option, but generally in much more populated areas with Wi-Fi that is pretty much available everywhere.
Heh. Cams with speakers, can yell at folks remotely...
@@RICDirector omg… imagine the content that would make! That’d be hilarious actually.
I am very impressed with marissas pole pounding. That is brutal work.
👏Cammie, I love your humor! I've been to my grandsons' baseball games & the signs say "Dogs not allowed." Every game several people bring their dogs, so there's that🤪 Your signs are better than the "smile, you're on camera!" Hope your finger gets some antibiotics! And yes, your healthcare is free. We spend a good portion of our monthly income on health insurance, which has high deductibles and co-pays in the thousands. It's absurd. Love you all!💙
I am seeing more and more fake service dogs out and about to. If your chihuahua is riding in the shopping cart and barking at other shoppers I guarantee that service dog vest is fake.
@@inannaliban yes!👏 And the reason for the Law in California that animals are not allowed in grocery shopping carts. Who want to put their groceries or their baby in the same place a dog's ass has been. It's just not sanitary! A real service dog will be walking with a person, or perhaps in a carrier on the body, but NOT in the shopping cart.
Great video. Love your humor, admire your wife and cute boys, and Marissa's cute smile. Thank you for a lovely morning 😊
Happy Birthday Cammy. Love the sneaky way you showed you DOB on the doctors app! 😂 Hope your finger gets better.
Well done Marissa 👏 🔨 Top effort lass.
Yes! The Ohio State University! The home of THE BEST DAMN BAND IN ALL THE LAND! And dont you forget it. Looks great on you Cammy. 🥰
Falling asleep while counting sheep 👌😂
Keep Calm & Cammy On!
Hope you have a great Birthday with hunners of live lambies & licky mammies.
😘🐑🎁🎈🥳
You're educating the public Cammy. It's hard, but I'm sure your fellow farmers appreciate it. Don't give up!
Love the counting sheep joke❤❤❤
@Cammy - regarding your finger you can buy Magnesium Sulphate paste which is a poultice, put some on your finger where the pus is oozing and cover with a plaster/wound plaster.. this will draw out the pus faster than any antibiotic. Good for while you wait for an appointment
I like the direct approach. Like “Please keep dogs on lead!”
"Please keep dogs on lead!" does get ignored. I have countless times watched people walk past these signs taking no notice. Probably because their dog would pull their arm out if put on a lead so they can't be bothered. 😔
HAPPIEST OF BIRTHDAY WISHES TO YOU, CAMMY! 🎉🥳🎊 Great video! Some people just don’t give a 💩! LOVE the sign and don’t think it’s crazy at all that you are protecting your sheep from stupid people!
I’d comment about the ending but I fell asleep while you were counting sheep. 😂
😂😂😂😂
I’m from the US and I found the information about how you access medical care very interesting. Thank you
What a gentleman ! Letting the young girl do all the hard work!
Omg little Joch is so cute helping out. Looks very proud of himself too as he should be 😊
I totally agree, as a dog owner myself people cannot get it into their heads to keep dogs on a lead at all times, my dog has been attacked by dogs and my wife also
You have the patience of a Saint mate. 👏👏 The SNP’s ‘Right to Roam’ Act 2003 has caused other knock on problems. I’m a Deer Stalker. Many of my contracts are in Scottish Forrests. Many forrest blocks are owned by different landlords but use the same tracks and are next to one another and mostly don’t have any boundary signs, fences or gates. The Act makes it trespass if you’re in a vehicle, whereby the police can impound your vehicle. If you’ve a gun in the car they can arrest you for trespassing with a firearm. I get maps from the forrestry Co but they are usually inaccurate. Boundaries rarely run in straight lines and even though I did map reading in military, so am expert, it is impossible to clearly identify your ground from a neighbours. Often there’s no mobile signal for a GPS ref either. Furthermore, you have to drive onto neighbours ground just to be able to turn the car round.
So I decided to call Police Scotland to explain the situation and ask if officers would allow trespass where the trespasser had reasonable grounds to be in the area. The Wildlife Cop did not want to discuss the law or my predicament he only wanted to know how I transported my rifle. 🤷🏻♂️ He was trying to find out when I was on the land so I’m pretty sure he was intending a stop and search. So so told him the rifle is in the car safe box and cut the conversation short.
I then tried the Forrestry Co and they said because of R to R it was not worth investing in boundary structures because the public smash fences down climbing them and leave gates open or steal em. Another own goal for the Silly Numpty Party🫤
Look at Jock, he’s so proud of the work he’s doing! He’ll be a good adult with parents like you and Lizzy. Cammie, you should’ve put your finger up on top of the rail and give it a whack with that BIG whammer! Spray some of that iodine on it and let it dry at least! That would have fixed it! Indian Health system here in the states is quite like yours in Scotland. I am Native American (Cherokee). I have a primary care physician with scheduled visits but can also do a walk-in visit if needed. Our hospitals have emergency room care and urgent care too. If we need special services such as an endocrinologist, as I do, the primary care physician will write an order and they send me to an endocrinologist outside of the Indian Health System. The money is provided by treaties with the US government for them taking our land and other atrocities.
No, you’re not going mad. People in the USA have totally lost it and our laws are upside down too. I pray every day for us and people all over the world.
What a girl!! Well done Marissa, you're a star!
Oh Marisa! What a workout - great job!!!
Hello everyone at The Sheep Game! Your videos are the way I start my day. Great content, great people!
Hello back to you 🙋♀️ hope you have a lovely evening and that it is warm where you are. It's freezing here in Germany 😢
Wee Jock is a legend , hardest working toddler in sheep. And naw yer no not o order. Loving yer work.
oot lol
Entire post really good. Happy Birthday! And hello to your family and helpers.
This is just ridiculously passive aggressive. Amazing.
🤣🤣
In West Lothian we have to sit from 8:30am phoning the doctors surgery to get a telephone appointment which might lead to an actual appointment. They wonder hey A&E is so busy!😂
Here in the US I've had problems with neighbors riding their bikes on my property and shooting fireworks that scared my livestock. People are just so disconnected from rural life and where their food comes from that they have no respect for livestock or personal property. There are recreational parks for a reason. If you want to play with your ball, go there. Not on somebody's private property. I'm also an April baby. Go us! Oh, and get him Lizzy. lol
Go Marissa! Nice job! ❤
Wee Jock with his bucket, collecting paint cans, then working gates while mom and dad work nearby - what a lovely life!
Cammi you are what we in South Africa would call a "silly goose" and I'm living for it 😂
We have the same terminology here in the US. 🙂
I'm gonnae stand in the pick-up 😂
Our dog is kept on a harness during walks for her own safety. Best wishes during the lambing season from East Ayrshire.
I quite liked the change of pace for a while, seeing you do chores around the farm, fixing fences etc. Shame that the public are so ignorant about farm life but I think you dealt with it well and at least she was apologetic
Good evening from oz, happy birthday Cammie, sending best wishes and a very well done to your superstar Mrs, Lizzie you are a star..judexx
For driving posts, a 60cm length of pipe from a scrapyard bigger than your posts with a cap and long handles down each side will be significantly easier to guide and drive the post.
Its a big slide hammer 😎👍
You may want to put "No Trespassing! Strictly enforced!"
All the best Cammy lad! Get a fence knocker( tube with handle either side) mate much easier and I've seen signs in the UK before with pictures of shot dogs on, brutal but very to the point.
I love the idea of bypassing a ignorant assistant to get an appt. with a physician. Our urgent care here in Florida has begun that. San Diego, hilarious😝
Couple of tricks to fencing that I've learned over the years. Firstly, fetch an old milk crate to stand on, it increases the force you can hit with.
Secondly, if you're holding a stake for someone else to hit, left hand if you're right-handed (vice versa if you're a leftie) and put a glove on. That way, when the person with the hammer misses, it ain't your master hand that gets hit, and the glove keeps splinters out of your hand.
Thirdly, get hold of fencing pliers. Bloody useful, for all manner of stuff.
That trailer is a bit like a clown car. It’s amazing, the number of sheep exiting the thing. 😂
My Grampy used to load his own shotgun shells--with rock salt!!! Great ammo for a small-bore varmint gun!
Medical Care in California: I also log in to my medical app and request an appointment the SAME way, also uploading photos. They get back to me very quickly. We also have telemedicine, where there is a video app. I can get a prescription for medication quickly. It costs a lot of money.
Happy Birthday Cammy!
I had to watch the last segment twice to understand it. As I see the situation, there is a great difference between private and public land, it would be understandable if I, a foreigner didn't know how it works and expected it to work like it does in country. But locals must know that these are private fields belonging to a sheep farmer. It would be similar to me coming to their yard with my kids to climb their apple trees or to swing on their swing.
I'd expect farmers to have signs "private land" everywhere.
I understand being upset that local government doesn't create public places to walk and to play games. But it has nothing to do with farmers who should be respected.
And the dog situation - you handled it marvelously. Absolutely properly. Mad respects.
(I dislike dogs in general, unless they are working dogs. The reason is, they are nice, dogs are great, but their owners are too often do absolutely stupid and disrespectful things, being a nuisance to others, sometimes a danger, often not being responsible and doing their dogs bad. And, of course, my neighbours own two small dogs, which are so unruly that I even had to call the police to deal with that issue, more than once. Individually - plenty of good boots and girls, often a disaster brigade with their owners. Creating disasters and minor unpleasantries.)
Good job, Lizzy, training up young Jock to be a help around the place.
'wanting us to leave?' eh, aye? that video showing all the sheep in one half and the 'rab mcglincy's family' in the other half of the field was very clear on the impact entering the field can have. look forward to your documentary progress...
international sheep fans might need to google rab mcglincy to get that...
🤣I loved the post driving lesson. Reminded me of the old line "When I nods me 'ed, you 'it it " 😅
❤❤❤ LOVE your The Ohio State hat!! My hubby went to med school there! Go Buckeyes!!
Counting sheep... lol. That was good, Cam
Happy Birthday, Cammie ! 🎉
I spotted the date beside your name on your phone when you were trying to arrange for a medical appointment !
Warmest wishes from this Canadian subscriber who has DEEP family roots in Dumfries . . .
Hope you have a wonderful day filled with laughter and love !
(( Love the banter btw, I can't get enough of it. ))
It's not just Scotland Cammy, here in NI people have lost it too, dog folk believe they own the place, I've dogs I see it all the time. Walking along the beach there is a field full of lambs, and people just have dogs off lead no care about others at all. Can totally understand why people want a depopulation. (JK) Happy Birthday!!
Yes here in England at my doctors we have to go online, fill in a for and wait for a phone call that takes between a couple of hours and 4 days.
Well done mate, farmers in ireland have been assulted over taking similar stances
Camy , you did very well !!!!!!!!
Happy birthday Cammy form your big fans in Dublin 🎉
Love your OSU hat. I work there and am very proud to see you wear it! Love watching your videos!!
It is called a beetle in England - at least in the south. When using she needs to let her hand move down the handle letting the weight drop on the post without jarring the worker.
As an American, I sometimes have a difficult time understanding Cam; however, trying to understand him while he has screws in his mouth is even more challenging.
Keep watching, you'll get used to him speaking, I did!
😂 that was special Scottish
I didn't notice the difference.
I don't want know why y'all have so much trouble understanding what cam is saying like I understand him 100% and I live in the United States and have no trouble whatsoever I mean he's speaking English for crying out loud

@@TheSheepGame thanks Cammy, I appreciate it.
American here - apparently my people came from Scotland way back when, but I am thinking I might need to get the Hoof GP to translate what Cammie's saying. Got here through Sandi Brock's channel , btw, but have no idea how I found her. Now somehow I am subscribed to a Scottish Hoof Trimmer who works on cows, a Canadian Sheep farmer, and now a Scottish sheep farmer who I can barely understand, but know pronounces Diego incorrectly and watches too many Will Ferrell movies.
I think when we live in the countryside we just think everyone knows how to act around animals ,I think it should be covered in schools especially as more people will be going to the local countryside as its a cheap day out
I think a sign would be good with a picture of your sweet little lambs looking up at you. And the sign says protect our lammies, put your dog on a lead!
maybe also picture of the dead one.
🎉🎉🎉Happy Birthday, Cammy! (I didn’t see it on your phone, just others’ comments)❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
Happy birthday Cammy.great video as always❤
Ohio state alum, so excited to see your hat!!
First how is poor marissa after pounding that post? I would be so sore the next day lol. I kept thinking why isn’t Cammie doing it he’s taller then you did haha.
Second at the end just WOW! They had nerve to play on a field not there’s and with a bunch of sheep and lambs. Here in the US in many states you could be shot by crazy owners for that lol. It is trespassing at a minimum but when it comes to people’s livestock people take that even more serious. Just like the dog that got the lambs the other day, plenty of farmers over here would have dispatched the dog if they caught it, once it kills it will hunt for more.
crazy owner here... (oklahoma)
Just to clarify.....your Healthcare isn't free. You pay for it when you pay your taxes. Same as here in Canada 🇨🇦. High taxes with access to HC included.
You need to write under your signs with a marker “YES, THEY DO!”
The anchorman joke near killed me 😂😂😂😂
Happy birthday Cammy. I live in Brazil, northeast in Bahia. Here we have a lot of problems with dogs. Must of them are street dogs and last mont they killed around 200 goats and sheeps of neighbor near by. At my small farm i have 2 Maremmano-Abruzzese Sheepdog, they stay with the flock all the time, very effective to protect form other dogs , wild animals. They work well with your dogs. I hope it works for you as well.
It's hard when they start to run in packs.
Living on an old farm in Massachusetts in the US we've had to deal with idiots more than I would like to admit. I grew up with horses and worked with them most of my life and it always blows my mind that I still have to tell people it's not ok to ride their horses around in the hay fields! As well as the jerks that dump trash and things like about 100 junk tires that someone apparently didn't want to have to pay to get rid of. Honestly you're being considerably nicer than I would be in your shoes! Not saying you should stoop to their level but.... sometimes people deserve to be yelled at!
Love your channel and everything you guys do ❤
