Ooh I am so excited for One of Us Knows!! I have been kind of hoarding it on my shelf for a rainy day because I agree that Alyssa Cole’s horror/thriller writing is my favorite version of her writing
Where the Dark Stands Still is amazing. My friends and I are annotating books for each other and sending books around for Christmas, it's been fun to annotate their annotations highly recommend
I’m glad you at least enjoyed Long Way even if it didn’t hit the mark as much as you’d hoped. It’s one of my favourite books and series - one of the few I’ve read multiple times, which is exceedingly rare! I hope you like the second one - same writing style and coziness but overall different setting and characters. The exploration of personhood and survival is really poignant I think. I’m currently reading Persepolis Rising from the Expanse series and enjoying it… despite my increasing stress levels 😅
I’m so curious to see which FairyLoot book you’ll choose to read first. I also have a ton sitting on my shelves and want to make an effort to read one per month. I’m in the middle of a move, so I may not be reading as much as usual until I get settled in though. 😊

Great reset - I also love lists haha. It always feels good to launch into a new season on a fresh start. Love the name of the new car. XD
