  • Autorotation is a way for helicopters to glide to a safe landing following an engine failure. In this video, James Baker, the owner/chief helicopter pilot for Rogue Aviation, instructs me through various autorotation techniques. If you need helicopter flight instruction in the greater Los Angeles area, consider Rogue Aviation (www.flyrogue.com). Thanks for flying with me! #micahflies

Re-Visited this after recent story of Texas UH-72 helicopter crash. I was an Army helicopter mechanic that always thought auto-rotation gave helicopters an accident survival advantage. Sad it's not in all situations.

That was fantastic Micah! Definitely continue more helicopter videos. And maybe do one where you talk about Flying Eyes and why you like them so much. They do look great.

As for the answer to your question, if we would like to see more of the same stuff? Yes I would. I am though is a little disappointed that we don’t have more helicopter videos. I know they’re expensive and I am trying to help, see what you can do. Micha. Safe fly my friend.

@@MicahMuzio They are actually safer than a helicopter. No need to autorotate since they're already in autorotation. At the very least, when you're in the area, come by and visit us at Eagle's Nest II.
