Let me get this right we bail out the banks, not just the left not even just the right wing WE ALL bailed out the banks, then they decide if we are worthy of an account based on our views and this is acceptable practice? If there's ever a bail out again I will refuse to pay my taxes until I feel repaid.
Love to see it. Go one don't pay.
There was no bailout of Coutt's. It provides no public service.
@gordonhill8164 Don't tempt me. I already refuse to pay my water bill since they've started dumping raw sewage into my local river. I used to swim in and was previously pristine. It now has warning signs for dogs, never mind humans. The whole world is going to S***
Look at Google's latest ads... Not a product or service in sight.
She resigns and keeps her pension and bonuses
I don't think they would bebank King Charles 111, they wouldn't get their Lordships or Knighthoods, or would they?
These institutions pay and supposedly get the best people. Quality should be more carefully assessed.
Talk about over reporting - sheesh! Ultimately, the bank are well within their rights to deny him banking services - it's not some sort of basic human right - it's a risk based service and the concept of restricting or off-boarding PEP's is not new. The mistake here was simply talking about it in public. The worst thing in all this is that it's given that buffoon more air time
Its Brexit that failed... Nigel, you've done enough. Go away as you promised. Or was that just bla bla bla?
Surprised that banks are still headquartered in Brexit Britain.

Any news?
How are the mega paid allowed to resign Joe bloggs would have been sacked, Pick up your pencil and go!! ❤
You'd think the interviewer would remember the boycotts of businesses who supported the apartheid regime in South Africa. I guess that would be "beyond their remit", would it? If anyone need to go it's that Oliver prat.
Bank operating regulations have proven to be an abject failure, where objectives other than banking that support british businesses and people are permitted. The deliberate destruction of companies by foreclosure once developement loans are committed 😊and the
One man can't get a bank account for millionaires: national news for over a week.
Millions using food banks every day: crickets.
Strange that, I'm a state pensioner living solely on a state pension, yet I have never been to a food bank ! I wonder why ?
It’s not humiliating cause the whole time in the document highlighted his account was closed because a MORTGAGE was PAID OFF adds that he had no money FACt it’s all in the document highlighted in yellow
Yep, and the earth is flat !
mr garage is greatest liar. 🦊and cheat himself 🦊ironic that himself this time at the receiving end of it 🙈🙈🙈🙄🙄🙄😄😄😄
Mr garage. Excellent grip of the English language. Use spellchecker
Let's hope this is a bi set back when they're tryin to introduce a digital currency.
So just to be clear.
He and many others did not meet the criteria any longer to bank with Coutt's.
Same as not paying your 'Gym Membership'.
His and many others cases were argued and discussed.
He and many others were 'de-banked'. Others with extenuating circumstances deferred.
Got it
Then there is the solitary embarassment that his individual case discussion was leaked.
Which was disgraceful. The fact that he was 'de-banked' is not
So why did they compile a dossier full of comments on his political views under the ruse of "reputational protection"? Also your argument does not cover the vicar de-bank by Yorkshire Building Society or a host of others. Nor does it explain the 10 other financial institutions that have refused his custom. It is not just a matter of being de-banked. Banks ask if you have been refused banking services as part of their account opening process.
@@Gorbyrev If he has been legally de-banked for not meeting the criteria for banking with Coutt's. Then yes he has to tick a box about having had banking services withdrawn. They were only withdrawn by an invitation only "private elitist club'. I agree it should not affect his future banking at all. NatWest can answer for NatWest but as for the other 9-10 banks you have to ask them. They did not have this client dossier. I know Coutt's and Coutt's members pretty well as a posh Kensington boy. Yes absolutely Mr Farage is not 'A Coutt's Client'. He is public enemy number one to their clients and has cost them millions. This should not matter but Coutt's does polish a reputation as an Elitist service. Lose that and they lose clients. Goodness knows what the leak was about.
Knowing Coutt's they have dossier's for reputational protection on most of their clients. They deal at the level of International Arms Dealers, Russian Oligarchs, Prince Andrew and potential Jeffrey Epsteins'. Daily Mail would go to town on any linkage with The Dead Queen's Bank and a Ponzi scheme multi-milionaire. Currently there is a lot of rumour/smear about Farage and Russian money. They would need to stay on top of the fallout if it became a news story.
@@Gorbyrevnor does it explain why the bank has other clients, who don’t meet the financial criteria, that have come forward. Anyone with half a brain can see it was purely political, and they’ve as much as admitted it.
@@fanfeck2844It was political. And it was reputational.
Coutt's is an Elitist private club. That is their business model. They make money attracting prospective clients to an Exclusive service where they know a 'Mr Farage' will not be one of them.
They have other clients who do not meet the criteria and each is discussed on a case by case basis. Mr Farage was discussed. He got the thumbs down. Who do you think should have been de-banked instead of him?
@@mrharry448you do realise that significant numbers of the people who bank at Coutts actually fall below the level of wealth they claim you need - Their staff
Any chance of giving this a rest, I don't care about a private individuals bank account
It's your bank account next.
Yeah and Nigel is on a crusade to stop this even though it's happened many times before. He didn't care then and he won't care now.
I notice Farage has not made such a fuss about tens of thousands of pensioners living abroad who had their uk bank accounts closed because of BREXIT. This story has been blown out of all proportion everyone is sick and tired if it! Get a grip.
I think all this is being overblown to promote Mr, Farage. My aunty onsidered him to be a political agitator as Mosely was during the war years.
Mr Farage today , may be you tomorrow ! . Many people are suffering the same fate just think about it 🤔
@@TheSuperHarrygeorgeThought about it. Not an issue.
Now 80% of the country not taking on new NHS dental patients by postcode That is a similar issue but infinitely worse than somebody having to go to Starling or Monza
Bob's your uncle.
What garbage!
It's happened before. You didn't care then did you?
Just boring...and not "News". Unless gossip about an over valued ex politician is now news.
I applaud natwest for trying to keep that POS out of their bank.
A lefty supporting Coutts.
Move all your money from the parasite bank to one that will not judge
HSBC WAS THE SAME
So Nigel can lie and cheat and it's all fine, now because he did some video everyone else is a paria. Double standards at the least.
Far from it !
