Grate video I listed a couple of items in an old Folksy shop after watching your last Video but was just before I went on Holiday but now I am back. I plane to add a few more and do some work on it. I have had no news but hopefully with some work I might get the ode sale from there. If we want an alternative to Etsy and I am not under any illusion it will get the traffic etsy dos any time soon we need to stick with it tell others and also remember it when we want to buy and not just to sell. pleas keep updating us with how its going and anything you learn that might help us get sales.
Yes so very true, there is no quick fix to finding somewhere else to Etsy sadly. I will for sure leave it till after Christmas And you are right I need to be a buyer there too
Sooo I opened a Folksy store as soon as I saw your video... because why not haha I've listed five of my best selling products over all the platforms I vend on and...crickets. I know I need to do some work and understand the SEO better but looking at the stats over a month.. one item has had ONE view in all that time. :/
Oh yes it does seem touch to get views, I am hoping it will build with time. I am not going to spend masses of time but hopefully every month is a little better
I also keep playing around Folksy at the moment. I keep on adding more items and have reached 180 listed items. I've got two sales in the past 30 days. Because I know Folksy is so much slower than my website and Etsy, I do not keep high hopes for everyday sales. But when I get one, it's always a nice surprise :)
Wow 180 listings is great!! I know what you mean its a nice surprise when a sales comes in there. Its kind of nice to not have expectations to get sales

Etsy has been terrible for a while. Their reviews are bad. I created products specifically to sell on etsy. Once I had several products made, I decided to create my etsy store. It was suspended as soon as registration was completed. No reason given. And automated responses sent out. I was told they've blocked the account permanently, and don't need to give a reason why. I hadn't even listed anything.
Id love a Folksy update x im so on rhe fence if I should join Etsy or just join Folksy and push all my marketing there x
I keep thinking of doing an update, but it is hard to know what to say. Sales and views just went totally to zero if I dont renew every day

Yes - as in my items are still live. Selling is a strong word. I will make a video about my experiences over Christmas

Pinterest was good for me up until a couple of years ago. I think I will try it again in the new year, I have a sort of a plan
