polygraph test results are inadmissible in court, as they are not scientifically reliable enough. In the first case the ex husband who failed the test was never arrested. The show did contact local authorities and notified that he did fail but it was not enough to arrest him. Most ppl who fail don’t ever get arrested unless the proper investigation is done and evidence is found.
Some people choose to defend the guilty person due to selfish reasons, loyalty and don't want to be alone. It is messed up because they will live with disgrace when things end badly.

I had a friend who lost a child years back from SIDS and I'll never forget the absolute, heartbroken, soul crushing howel that came from her soul. That memory will always stay with me for as long as I live. I can't imagine loosing something so precious. And some of these parents on this show unaliving their own blood is beyond me. I used to babysit this little girl. She was like family to me. She grew up (well 17) had a baby, and she lost her to s.i.d.s. at 10 weeks old. That was one of the most heartbreaking funerals I've ever had to go to. I don't ever want to have to go to another baby funeral ever. 💔
i believe when it comes to babies, children, disabled, elderly and animals you deserve exactly what you did to them. an eye for an eye when it comes to the innocent. sitting in jail isn’t enough. maybe for petty crimes or non violent. but you hurt something that is defenseless and has no idea what’s going on…. you deserve the worst punishment.

If I'm not mistaken the mother is also guilty, can't remember where the info came from might have been the original video on it's own, but she passed because she is a psychopath, believe her family said something about it, other family obviously not the trash with her on stage. Hence why she passed for not knowing the abuse, when you look into the evidence its impossible not to know something was obviously wrong with the child. Remember the child was 7 weeks not 7 years. No way it got injured on its own.
Unless she completely neglected the child and never saw or held it, there is no way she would not have known her child was abused. She knew exactly what was going on. The whole family needs to be put away for a very long time.

That mother should be reported to police and charged with a different crime for that baby. It wouldn’t be double jeopardy. That psychopath needs to be dealt with.
I think the issue is that she was probably already charged with intentional homicide and then pleaded it down to whatever she got. Now, double jeopardy doesn’t mean you can’t be charged twice for the same crime; it only protects you from being convicted twice. The prosecutor could theoretically proceed with charges but frankly the defense attorney would be on higher footing because the only new evidence they have to go on is a polygraph test, which - whether or not it happened in one of the 6 states that allow polygraphs to be entered as evidence without the defendant’s consent - would never be enough to reopen a case on its own. Obviously she’s guilty as sin, and deserves a thousand times worse than what she got, but bad operators have permanently ruined the reputation of polygraphs in the legal system.
I am sure Steve took the results to the police, we can only hope at the least she is not allowed to keep/have anymore kids... My egg sharer (my half sister sadly) lost so many kids to the state they just started taking them at the hospital..... Sad fking world we live in :(
The only way that will happen would be if new evidence emerged. A lie detector test is extremely unreliable and has no standing in court. Can't use that to charge her with anything.

I teach him that bad people can be anywhere. Working in our hospitals, schools, churches and courts. We need to protect our kids, yes, and that includes proper education (truthful education!) Apparently, according the family's FB page, the person the family brought on the show (the husband), even though he FAILED the lie detector, they refuse to believe he had anything to do with it, and evidently are angry at the show. The person they believe killed her, was some guy who she was dating named Mike, who the last person to see her alive. 🤔
Lie detector tests are fallible. An accused person who is innocent can be angry about the question being posed to them in regards to a death. That can trigger a response that gives the analysers the impression that the subject is lying. And vice versa, a psychopath may feel no remorse or anger about the same question. Even if they are guilty of the crime, the lie they tell may come up as seemingly truthful.

I agree. However, I'd like to offer a little insight. This is certainly NOT an excuse for their behavior. From experience, when people die, especially in that manner or other tragic ways, often times families are looking for someone to blame. Even if they have all the facts they need. They're so hurt by their loss, that their anger is misplaced. I believe these women will look back and be completely embarrassed by and have remorse for their actions. You have to remember, at the time of the show, they had just buried him days before. Everything was so fresh and emotions were very high. I hope the family has found a way to live with their loss. And I truly hope they stopped blaming her.

When I was 11, many years ago, I was hit by car on a 30mph road. I was very nearly killed and it took 6 months before I was fit to return to school. I can relate to the four siblings whose mother was murder in 1999 because my mom had four children 2 boys & 2 girls also and my mom was also murdered, but in 1998 very brutally I couldn’t even recognize her in her casket because she was beaten to death and at that time I was only 13 years old on the way down to my youngest brother being eight years old and our life was so hard without her, but now God has given the piece to move on with my life and pick up the pieces for my children! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🪴🪴🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 the family is in my prayers

Am I mistaken? In that last clip. Dad failed for abusing and/or killing the child. Grandpa failed for abusing. Grandma failed for knowing about it. Mum passed for not only not abusing, but not being aware of anyone else abusing, and yet she spent the longest time in prison???

If I'm not mistaken the mother is also guilty, can't remember where the info came from might have been the original video on it's own, but she passed because she is a psychopath, believe her family said something about it, other family obviously not the trash with her on stage. Hence why she passed for not knowing the abuse, when you look into the evidence its impossible not to know something was obviously wrong with the child. Remember the child was 7 weeks not 7 years. No way it got injured on its own.
Unless she completely neglected the child and never saw or held it, there is no way she would not have known her child was abused. She knew exactly what was going on. The whole family needs to be put away for a very long time.

That mother should be reported to police and charged with a different crime for that baby. It wouldn’t be double jeopardy. That psychopath needs to be dealt with.
I think the issue is that she was probably already charged with intentional homicide and then pleaded it down to whatever she got. Now, double jeopardy doesn’t mean you can’t be charged twice for the same crime; it only protects you from being convicted twice. The prosecutor could theoretically proceed with charges but frankly the defense attorney would be on higher footing because the only new evidence they have to go on is a polygraph test, which - whether or not it happened in one of the 6 states that allow polygraphs to be entered as evidence without the defendant’s consent - would never be enough to reopen a case on its own. Obviously she’s guilty as sin, and deserves a thousand times worse than what she got, but bad operators have permanently ruined the reputation of polygraphs in the legal system.
I am sure Steve took the results to the police, we can only hope at the least she is not allowed to keep/have anymore kids... My egg sharer (my half sister sadly) lost so many kids to the state they just started taking them at the hospital..... Sad fking world we live in :(

Lie detector tests are fallible. An accused person who is innocent can be angry about the question being posed to them in regards to a death. That can trigger a response that gives the analysers the impression that the subject is lying. And vice versa, a psychopath may feel no remorse or anger about the same question. Even if they are guilty of the crime, the lie they tell may come up as seemingly truthful.

The only people we allow them to stay the night with twice a year is my sister in law and her husband. I KNOW for a FACT they would never hurt my children. I agree. However, I'd like to offer a little insight. This is certainly NOT an excuse for their behavior. From experience, when people die, especially in that manner or other tragic ways, often times families are looking for someone to blame. Even if they have all the facts they need. They're so hurt by their loss, that their anger is misplaced. I believe these women will look back and be completely embarrassed by and have remorse for their actions. You have to remember, at the time of the show, they had just buried him days before. Everything was so fresh and emotions were very high. I hope the family has found a way to live with their loss. And I truly hope they stopped blaming her.

I remember from a video of the second story where I wrote about how the so-called mother, Monique was sorry for getting caught. Even if her tears are real, she is only sorry because her life would be ruined.
You are right that she should have gotten life in prison, what she will face is disgrace. She will lose her job, get kicked out of places, and be disowned by her friends and family. The only person who still loves her is her own mother since she refuses to believe in the truth. She should have disowned her.

When I was 11, many years ago, I was hit by car on a 30mph road. I was very nearly killed and it took 6 months before I was fit to return to school.
The grandmother is another victim, who wants to believe their precious daughter killed their granddaughter? I’m writing this about a week after the Letby case here in the U.K., her parents refuse to believe their daughter killed 7 babies.

Justice - unfortunately globally the justice system is totally broken & handful of countries left that really take justice to a very stern no loophole, perks level. Break rules, commit crime I’m sure in 1 country they chop your hand/hands off if it’s certain type of crime, death sentence no such thing as appeals etc. crime is a crime male/female. yeah that's the issue I'm having. it's been proven over and over again that lie detector tests are not accurate, so they're now inadmissable in most courtrooms. Ergo, most of these people are probably 100% innocent. their mistake was believing that lie detector tests actually work.
The fact that he left to go to Florida on the day before appearing on the show make he look just as guilty.
