He must have been ill or had symptoms before his diagnosis and to be so advanced ? He certainly was an angel to many children and now in Heaven. 💙🙏🏼

Incredible nurse. In the news we so rarely hear about the good nurses, but the ones that did something bad. During the time that I worked as a floor nurse, I prayed everyday that I would help my patients and not harm them. I was thrilled to see my patients get better. Nurse Terry has had a huge impact on so many children and their families. I hope other nurses will try to follow his example. My condolences to his family. Being a nurse is a calling, not just something to do until something better comes along.

RIP NURSE TERRY. YOU WILL BE GREATLY MISSED BY THE PATIENTS, PARENTS, DRS, NURSES OTHER staff members and friends. May the Lord's Perpetual light shine on him forever ✨️ 🙏🏼.
The biggest compliment is to have others copy and want to be like you. What a beautiful 😍 place to work. Who would have thought? What a beautiful man to see his young patients smiling like that through major cancer treatment...what a blessing to the parents, as well...and then to "retire" and then return! What a blessing. ❤ "We are forever better bc of Terry." I can only dream of having someone say that about me in my legacy, but Terry actually did it ❤. It was sad to hear the nurse that was his patient say that it happened so fast that they didn't the chance to take care of him like he took care of everybody else (and her literally) ❤ This reminds me of the cancer center that I go to. I have told them that they "almost make me look forward to coming here." 😊. Makes me think i should do more to show my appreciation for them. I think I'll do that now! He is still touching lives of strangers, too! ❤
My deepest condolences to Terry’s family and friends. He’s will always be a hero. Be kind to each other, because in this walk through life, you will unwittingly entertain angels. ❤🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏
Terry was my mom. She, too, was a nurse pediatric. Her patients loved her. She would often stay late to make sure things were good. Liver cancer sucks! She never drank alcohol a day in her life. 💚 Mr. Terry, you left a beautiful legacy. ❤

A true hero ❤ I volunteer in a hospice and love it there, however my hubby was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer a month ago. Before that he'd been a nurse in charge of an ITU. now he's had major brain surgery and will start treatment, probably next week (08/24) and it'll buy us roughly 12 months more with him, where without treatment we were told it would be 2 to 4 weeks. we renew our vows in a weeks time. But I can't believe how quickly our world collapsed around us. Now I'm going to be one of the relatives who I would normally look after and my hubby a patient I'd care for, as he is going to my hospice when the need arises and I know we'll have the best team caring for him and the best of friends to support me and our family too❤
My deepest sympathy to all friends and family. Children’s Oncology is a special calling. I’m retired from a major cancer center, worked just with adults. Could not do what Terry did. God bless him for easing the suffering of children 🙏🙏🙏🙏
