I was sold on this little beauty before I bought it yesterday at HD (w/charger and a 2mh pack) for $99. I came home and lopped off the 50-60 remaining limbs on my Mulberry and while the 2mh battery was charging I used one of the 1.5mh packs I have with the Ryobi Drill combo I have. That pack was less than 50% charged and lasted through 50 of the cuts before it depleted. Thanks for your review Donley Cove! This video only solidified my decision. Liked, subscribed!

Glad I could help! And these are extremely lightweight and durable. :)

I bought one. And love it!! It's not heavy and very compact. Doesn't take up space. I just put it back in its box. They say no oil but put it on now and then. Have 2 trees. And it cost me $300.00 every fall. Well I spent $100.00 for it. It paid for itself the first time

This little gem paid for itself the first time $300.00 every fall for a landscaper to do it. Nope not no more. I do it myself. I love it, cause its light and i can climb my ladder and carry it

I use my Ryobi 10 inch chainsaw to cut a chord of wood to length for firewood. Wh🎉en it stopped I just changed batteries. Excellent!

nice video! The "oil free" design isn't perfect. Consider putting some oil on the bar every now and again. I've had mine bind up because of moisture in certain branches. Adding the oil gets it back up and running again

Good point. I'ts a misnomer to say that it's oil-free. If one bothers to read the manual, it says to oil the chain prior to each use. Oil-less just means it doesn't have an oil tank for continued oiling during use.

I just bought the 10" - haven't yet used it but can't wait! It does say to use oil.

While I DO agree with you that smaller chainsaws have their place; (I have five); I don't agree with your choice of saw.
I agree with commenter Hugo; I have the Chinese versions.
My 8" Kebteks have unbelievable power. I timed a cut a while ago. It was a 7" white oak branch. The Kebtek took only a little over thirty seconds to get through it!
The 'mini' chainsaws from the major manufacturers are so big and bulky.
The high quality mini chainsaws from the orient aren't cheap. I think my Kebtek goes for north of a hundred dollars; and for me; it is well worth the money.

My cheap Chinese one has both 6" and 8" blades and a removable side handle so I can use two hands.
