Awesome collection!! Where've you been, we miss you!! I hope you post an update soon, I'd love to know how you are doing and how your Sylvanian hobby is going! ❤
I don’t know if you still check notifications for your videos but I hope all is well with you. It’s been so long since you’ve uploaded a new video. We miss you! Hope you are well.
The Lamb or Sheep family and the Kangaroo Family are some of my favorites. I live in the US and I ordered the Renald Fox mom and son on bikes and as many Thistlethorn mice as I could get from the UK. None of the mice were new, yet....they will always be my most favorite Sylvanian family...along with the others I have mentioned. My husband made me a beautiful doll house for all my Sylvanian families. I am 74 in May, and am getting the Sylvanian grand piano for my birthday....I am a piano teacher, so I hope to teach them all to play.
I've loved Sylvanian Family since they first debuted.I now collect them as collectors items Each month I buy a little more for my collection.i subscribed to your channel.
what a great collection! i love the marguerite rabbits, i think they have some of the best outfits ever and the little flower on the sister's ear is so adorable!!
I just stumbled upon your video as I had these toys way back in the 80s as a child and I am thrilled to see how they have stood the test of time and are still well loved by generations today. Back then they were adorably cute and I adored them and to see how cute they are now with new families and sets is just so heartwarming ❤️ I hope they go on for another 40 years!
Thank you for sharing your collection, you seem like such a lovely person 😊 I am just now gettibg into Sylvanians ( I'm 40), but I always loved them in the toy catalogues as a child (sadly never owned any). Can yoz confirm.my suspicion that the furniture used to be made out if wood and now it's plastic? I always thought the 80s homes looked so much nicer and better quality with the wooden accessories. But I guess plastic has sadly taken over everything 🙈. Have a lovely day 😺
I recently found your channel and watched all your videos. I thoroughly enjoyed them all! This summer I thrifted the starter house and turned it into a Halloween house. I realized I had a couple of sets from years ago so thrifted a cozy cottage and treehouse……I’ve gone down the Calico Critters hole! I’ve always liked/collected miniatures. Your channel is very inspirational. I like everything but especially the caravan!! I hope you’ll post photos of gradually filling up your big house with furniture. It would be fun to see the process and options. I have not seen that house here in the USA so fun to learn about it. 👍😍❤️
Ah thank you so much 🥰 so glad you enjoyed the videos! That’s what happened to me, I fell down the hole and I love it 😍 I’m planning to do a video furnishing the celebration home this week!
Hi! I had struggled with storing the figures, too. I then found a set of nesting gift boxes at a charity store in brand new condition (multiple small boxes inside each other like Russian nesting dolls). They were a good size and I used both the boxes and lids to create an interesting shelving structure by glueing them together in a nice display unit shape. Hard to explain, but I now display most of my figures in this unit. The boxes fortunately have a forest green interior so looks nice as a background. Some rows are four figures deep (deeper box), some two or three and others just one row (lid). So that’s an idea - maybe a shoe box or other box of similar size that you can decorate interior with a craft paper you like, stack boxes together as shelves and add more boxes as your collection grows. I keep mine on the floor against a wall and it’s next to my staircase so I get to see my critters all of the time.
Wow that is very creative! I can picture it in my mind and seems very cool 😍 I love the idea of being able to see my collection all the time, think I need a bigger house 😅
I don't know if you ever look at comments now, but I wish you were still posting on here, I just found you about a month ago and I love your channel, you seem soo sweet!
I just recently got the midnight cat set, the mom’s name is Allison, the dad’s name is James, the sister’s name is Chantel, and lastly the baby is a boy and his name is Reggie
got the notification for your video during a particularly dull lecture at uni, so was very excited to come home and watch 🤣 love your collection! my newest addition has been the outback koala family and i have to say the little baby strapped to the mother’s back will convince anyone to get them! only £13 in my local tesco too, and actually i think you can now get them for £10 if you have a clubcard so definitely check out tesco for all your sylvanian obsession needs! also ordered the friesian cows last night and i’m so excited for them to arrive! ❤️
Oh wow glad I could brighten up your lecture 🤪 oh my, how did I not know you could get Sylvanians in Tesco!? 🤯 I NEED them haha! Oh you will just love the cows 🐮 🥰
Love the Thistlethorns, they're so cute! The outfits on the newer families are so detailed and pretty, love the co-ordination in colours of the Marguerites too. For storage solution ideas, can't really help on display ideas as mine are all boxed up in a cupboard, but for storing the families I have them all stood up in large shoeboxes with similar colours together or paper inbetween to stop colour transfer, I'm sure there are much better ways though!
The Thistlethorns are so sweet aren’t they 🥰 agree with you on the outfits too! That’s why I have such a soft spot for the Marguerite rabbits! That’s a great tip actually for when they’re in boxes etc, putting some tissue paper or something between them 👍🏻 having them on the shelf looks so nice but I worry about dust and sun bleaching! 😳
@@swiftyssylvanians6629 Yes dust really is the enemy of Sylvanian displays! I used to have some out on a shelf but it was just a magnet for dust. I feel like the best solution would be a nice glass display case but then there's the issue of space!
I also have some of my figures in different houses, but my older figures are in bags in 3 storage drawers. I have the marguerite rabbits, the midnight cats, and I am getting the friesian cows. I have the Labrador family with the brother and sister figures. altogether I think I have about 70 figures, the school and nursery. also the fashion studio and gelato shop, rose of sylvania canal boat. Caravan and the cedar terrace house, log cabin and elegant town manor. they all are in my bedroom :-)
Adding to my comment, I'd store them in a glass front cabinet. You can see the collection but the glass will protect them from gathering dust or deteriorating.
the chocolate rabbit mum is called Teri and the baby is called creme. There are two sisters in the Persian cats family. Tiffany golightly is the cat with the seaside camping set. I keep my figures in bags in a box. The marshmallow mouse sister is called Stephanie. I have all the marshmallow mice in my cedar terrace house. I also have the cottontail rabbit mum and sister - they live in my caravan.
Hechogs are a great one

Awh the Keats Family are adorable 🥰
Lovely families! They are all so cute! I love the grey squirrel so much, I pretend that he's the uncle to the Walnut squirrels so he isn't lonely. 🥰❤
Aw that’s such a good idea! So cute 🥰

Would you ever consider doing a review of Koala Diary/Koala Town playsets?
