- Ah this was so much fun! 🤩 today I share with you my few original and older Sylvanian sets, some of which I have learnt are a lot older than I thought!
I love sylvaniancollector.net for all things Sylvanian! He has created an itemised catalogue of pretty much everything there has ever been and I would highly recommend checking the website out if you want to date an item or check if something is unusual.

Still heartbroken that I lost all my 80's Sylvanian Families houses & figurines in a traumatic house move. (I was 5 or 6 when my Mum first bought me Sylvanian Families), during the pandemic lockdowns I began collecting again & have found some websites that sell vintage items 🐰💞🐻 I loved your video, thankyou for sharing & I'm so happy that you still have all of your Sylvanians.. you really have looked after your collection very well

Oh my gosh the caravan and the Harvester restaurant are amazing, it is so cool you have those! And of course so is the bakery, school house, all of it. It is wonderful you kept it and in good condition too!

But uh what is old? Sylvanian Families cann't be older than from 1985, the year I married at my age of 18.
Yes, I am still married to the same man.
I always become a little bit jaloura of you and other collectors living in the UK. You have so much more beautiful items than overhere your neighbours in the Netherlands.
Ordering in the UK is also not an option, because we pay a lot of taxes for countries out of the euro countries. Before the Brexit I wasn't collecting Sylvanian Families.
I made already for years dollshouses and miniatures.
I buy most second hands, from France, sometimes Spain and Italy. I have collected a lot in a short time. First new items started in 2022, now that's almost complete, I buy more vintage.
I have also Japanese items, and I love them very much.
I want so bad the sloth family and the Shiba dog family and unicorn- & bugbaby's.
