Hey there from Alberta! I stumbled on this video and loved it. I’ve been making lures for about 2 years now, always looking for channels like yours. Great job on the build and the video. Thanks for your work! 🎣🇨🇦

I am also a canadian bait maker 😊
Welcome to the team!

Thank you for the awesome comments!
Found this channel randomly in my suggestions, outstanding work. This channel needs more subscribers
Thank you! Wish I could pump out more content quicker but work gets in the way. 🤣
These are very nice! Besides the durability and the beauty I especially like your positioning of the tie on eye and the bill. You got nice action and it leaves the head highlighted. Slick
Thank you!
Great work - I have never seen a rotating UV box - smart 👍
Thank you! It’s just a geared motor I fastened to the lid.
Your craftsmanship is insane! Cool stuff!
Great work on those!
Beautiful work mate, great job 👌👍
Amazing!
Thanks man.
Very Nice
Thank you!
Nice work I really like them. I been a wood worker all my life but never got into lure building, I just started a few weeks a go and so far its not going to good but I think it will get better in time I make everything by hand so far but I still need a air brush and lots of lure parts.
I still make lures that don’t work as planned but I think that just helps improve your designs. For the airbrush I just bought the cheap kind to start off and it’s still going.
Thanks for the support!
They look amazing! Can I ask what you are dipping them in after every new paint design?
Polyurethane in between paint and UV resin for the finish.
Zrób mi takie to kupię od ciepie
Thanks!
Meus parabéns esta isca artificial artesanal ficou show de bola.
Obrigado parceiro.
Dear can you share the templates of your work so that people like me who wants to start hobby making lure should benefits from your knowledge and do the right process instead making mistakes and disappointed.
Regards
Very nice action and painting scheme. How much weight is put in the lure? 20gr or even more?
These lures started at 16.4 grams and the final weight is 31.1 grams without hooks.
Total weight added was 14.7 grams, so you were very close! Thanks for the question👍
what was the clear coat you were dipping them in. new to lure making been fishing my whole life. carved my first bass popper and it worked so I'm hooked. thanks new subscriber
Glad to hear that you’re joining the Hobby. It’s pretty gratifying when you get a lure you make to work.
The clearcoat I was dipping the lures in is polyurethane, I use it to seal the wood and in between layers of paint.
Thanks for the support!
@@Builtin79 awesome thanks a lot man
How much do you charge to make custom lures? Would definitely like to get a few from you
I really appreciate that you would consider buying one of my lures!
I’ll be honest, never tried to sell one before.
Fairly new to the craft, so I would like to develop my skills a bit further before considering selling any.
Most of my lures I have given to family and friends. I get awesome feedback which leads to improvements. Plus there’s no buyers regret when they’re free. 😂
Thanks for the support.
@Builtin79 if you decided to. I would like to buy 8 from you unpainted. I have a lot of different color mixtures I want to try...just have not got the cutting part learned yet
Nicely done! What wire did you use?
Thanks! I used stainless steel .48 wire.
What kind of wood were those made from? TIA You have some lucky friends
Thanks for the question, these are made from pine.
@@Builtin79 I thought so, thanks for the answer. You made it look easy!
I find pine harder to carve details so I just airbrushed everything.
Dear can you share templates. I tried to make but too much difference.
