Why did the one guy switch accordions during reels? Is it tuned differently, because I thought all Irish reels were usually done in B/C
There are a good number of people who primarily play C#/D. It's great for tunes in D, and allows for more use of the bass keys.
From what I can tell based on push/pull, it looks like he's playing C#/D for Maid Behind the Bar (key of D) and switches to B/C (key of G).
They crucify you if you don't own a D whistle.
you will need a bodhran for another groove. I can accompany you very well
