Wedding speeches are given in Catholic weddings here in India which was what they showed in the Ad. In other cases I’m sure they happen but it’s more uncommon

The difference in advertisements in India and US is because of how the audience reacts to and to what extent an emotion drives the society. These ads are about evoking an emotion which is considered a driving force in the society and then associating the product with that emotion. Indians love this kinda stuff and humorous too which can be seen through different ads here, hence the difference.
I would certainly like to thank all of you ,specially Rick and korbin...for reacting to this particular ad..coz I loved it personally and the main thing is that the big brother in this ad is my real big brother and his name is raj logani,and I am a fan of yours and I wanted you to react to this one...so I really appreciate you doing a reaction to this one,also I am glad you liked the ad,the voice is also that of my brother's in hindi..thank you...will ask my brother also to see this and leave comment for you guys...

Btw, it's an ad for an alcohol company, but since showing ads for alcohol is banned in India, these companies show ads for musix cds, water etc and in a way promote their company. This is called surrogate advertising.
