Sidemen literally sitting and eating food and chatting for an hour literally has millions of people watching just because we like them as people (or at least the parts they show to us).
Mr Beast relies on big budgets, nothing else. He and his friends lack any sort of personality or quality interaction. I like what he does for charity, but otherwise his content absolutely stinks

@@Steven-yf2ef what i believe is the case is: the assassin is real (ex-military), just obviously not being free to be an actual assassin in the video as mrbeast will follow a script, which is created to avoid errors (like the assassin getting to jimmy too soon). the assassin is unaware of what's going to happen, but will intentionally not do anything too crazy to not mess up the video. the video is meant to be a collection of tense moments and cool planned stunts, not an actual chase, as that would probably make jimmy lose the opportunity to film on a lot of places and would be messy. it's meant to make you ask "what is jimmy going to do next??? must be something big". if you see it that way, i don't think it can be considered fake. that's how i viewed the video when i first saw it, and i was not disappointed.
These vids are more for kids, Sidemen vids are more authentic. Most adults would prefer the Sidemen style than the scripted/overly dramatic video style of Mr. Beast.
