Good top 10. I got my UR22C a bit over 3 years ago. At the time, my local guitar shop was selling a "recording pack", so for a few hundred ($A), I got the UR22C plus a steinberg condenser mike plus a set of headphones, plus an entry level version of Cubase, so bang, I basically had everything to start recording with just the one purchase. Still use everything to this day, and over time I upgraded to Cubase Pro, so pretty much have everything I need from that perspective. The UR22C has been bloody good to me! Cheers, Joey.

Yep. I would agree. Bang for your buck, the UR22-C Interface gets my vote every time.

I HAVE THIS, FOR SINGERS THIS IS THE BEST INTERFACE EVER, WE CAN RECORD WITH OR WITHOUT EFFECTS, AND WE CAN HEAR A REVERB FOR EXAMPLE WITHOUR RECORDING IT IF WE NEED TO HAVE A CLEAN VOCAL TO TUNE IT ALL IN DAW, ALL I EVER WANTED. IF THEY ONLY KNEW HOW TO MARKET IT. THE "FX REC" ON -OFF SWITCH DOES NOT DO IT FOR ME I HAVE TO GO TO LOOPBACK OFF TO DISABLE IT, KIND OF ODD BUT IT WORKS.

Hey there, great video! I don't suppose this interface has any kind of noise gate for vocal inputs?

Thanks for the comment. Yes. The guitar amp simulations include a noise gate.

hey boss, I just received my UR22C and I'm having an Issue. I can not for the life of me disable the direct monitoring. If i turn the input/daw knob to the right completely, I cant hear myself but my mic doesnt sent any signal to my pc. If i turn it all the way to input, I can only hear myself. Do you know if there is any way to send input from mic, apply effects but not hear them myself?

Hello. I'm not really understanding your description of the problem. What is it that you don't want to hear? From your description it seems that you don't want to hear the direct monitoring signal, which confuses me. Why not just take your headphones off. Then you won't hear anything. What am I missing here? Maybe if you explain in a different way I will be able to understand.

@@rocknets Basically, I want to use my UR22C as my main sound board. I have a pair of headphones connected in the front, and my XLR mic on the input 1. The issue is, I can always hear myself. If I turn the mix knob to the right completely, I can't hear myself anymore BUT my input volume also goes to 0 so I can't use the mic for anything basically (cant hear through monitoring nor through software, 0 pickup)
If in dspMix I disable loopback and turn the knob to the right, my friend can hear me through voice chat, but he can't hear the effects or anything
IF i enable voice chat mode, He cant hear me at all if i turn to the right
IF I enable live cast mode, he can hear himself.
I was using a scarlett solo before and changed to ur22c because I had some issues, but I'm starting to feel like its not really made to

@@voidsh4man Hello, I have tried to replicate your issue and do not get the same results. To be clear... When I turn the mix knob full right I don't hear myself in the headphones, but the mic is still recorded. This is what I would expect but seems to differ from your results. Are you selecting the UR22C as your input device in your recording software and sound settings? I can only imagine that the problem is there. I'm still a bit unsure what you arelly trying to acheive. Your friend can hear you. You can hear yourself. What's the problem?

@@rocknets He can hear me but not the effects. I reinstalled windows because I was having sound issues appart from that but it does not seem to be fixable. I appreciate your help, I'll try contacting the support directly :)

Sir. I want to record my poetry professionally at home. Which audio interface and microphone should I buy? Dynamic or Condenser Mic? My room is not soundproof. Should I get a dynamic mic? If I record the same verse on both dynamic mic and condenser mic. After mixing and mastering, what would be the difference between the poetry recorded from both the mics? Will both be of the same quality? Will both have different quality? If the quality of condenser mic will be crisp. So can I make the poetry recorded with dynamic mic sound crisp? like condenser microphone? I am very confused. I have added money in 4 years with a lot of hard work. I don't want my money to be wasted. Please tell me such a mic and audio interface that I will not regret after buying. I am complete begginer. I want professional quality. Like it is in the video 👇ruclips.net/user/shortspBJdvpQtNZA?feature=share
