Title says superboss. Eunie in the thumbnail. Love it.

Evade tanking with Eunie's Full Metal Jaguar was a big key! You don't even need to use chain attacks to win!

This came up in my Recommendeds. It’s close to what I have in mind for my endgame party but I’d like to ask, why ground beat and the lower aggro stance on Noah? Wouldn’t sword strike and back thrust be better?

Low aggro is basically because of the attack+, and also the fact that Noah needs to not be focused, not only because of the existence of no tanks on the party, so he will eventually pick up aggro, but also because keves arts take too long to recharge so you need to not die so they do not reset. Ground beat is good because (I don't know the math behind it), but air slash + ground beat is the highest damage you can do to smash an enemy in the game, on a chain attack it is easy to hit 10 million damage (9999999 is the cap). Also, sword strike and edge thrust are not worth as getting unlimited sword would mean a lot of weird movement around the enemy for damage which is not worth at all, only sword strike might be decent but still not better than shadow eye probably. And the talent art recharge is already covered by Flamelord too.

To be honest Air Slash + Mighty Beat is the only reason to use Swordfighter. The rest may as well be blank space.

    I was looking for strategy…
My dummass didn’t think mighty beat would ever be a good smash art even in chain attacks lol 🤦‍♂️
Smash damage + chain attack really adds up lol
For some reason I didn’t think mighty beat would work on chain attack and never tried it cause it looked weak

The trick is to fuse Mighty Beat with a high-damage Art. Air Slash, Ground Beat, and Cross Impact are good choices.

i did the same exact comp as you just different characters and replaced swordfighter with soulhacker and melia with fiona. it looks like youre limiting yourself to only s ranks though so i see why u went swordfighter

It did seem that Mio didn't get much screentime as a Troubadour. Just curious on why/

Troubadour doesn't do much during Chain Attacks.

@@elvinthegengar2.039 Protector's Pride skill makes your arts recharge quicker when the monster isn't targeting the defender. This is why I'm using FMJ as an evasion tank.
More explanation for why I pick each class.
Swordfighter: Best Smasher in the game, even better than Lucky Seven.
Troubadour: Spam Glittering Melody. Technically I consider Medic Gunner to be superior but Troubadour fits Mio better.
Full Metal Jaguar: This class has two evasion arts built-in as well as three extra evasion Master Arts. Best dodge tank in the game.
Seraph: It can fuse Topple and Launch together, very convenient. Does big damage in Chain Attack too.
Signifer: Obvious mandatory pick for every team.
Ogre: Obvious mandatory pick for every team.

      @@AlexaRobin21
      Why is Lanz specifically Signifer?
      Because he’s the S Rank?
Also Ogre is only mandatory in speedruns + farming for materials because of its high break success rate.
Edit: Mighty Beat ain’t a good smash art, unless you’re using it on Air Slash, which you are. But Sumo Press from Soulhacker is generally better, since it hits damage cap extremely easily.
