    If we want to correct unilateral indivitual cross bite with cross elastic, we should place alight wire to overcome the rotation of the whole arch?

    Amazing video Prof.
    I have a question prof. In case of bilateral lower molar lingual inclination, can we use cross elastic bilaterally during round archwire? And will this bilateral cross elastic produce counteract moment to each other ? And what force of cross elastics would you recommend in this scenario ?
    Thank you prof. Hoping to hear an answer from you.

    Hello I have a questrion,
    My teeth/jaw position look like the picture on the right on 15:06. My orthodontist says he can do nothing about it and that this is a natural asymmetry. I thought it could be fixed with elastics. What can you say about it?

    • @khemansahu7372
      @khemansahu7372 2 года назад

      I have also almost same problem but my problem is much more difficult my one side molar theeth siifted and also midline off because of that and my orthodontics said that is not a problem and put off my braces
      Now in photos i have look little bit one side shifted face
      And i decide to put braces again for correction of it by elastic to other orthodontics 😥

  • @maulik5986

    But, isnt these are all to be keep into mind, when using elastics in this fashion unilaterally. Do we expect this while using bilaterally?

  • @TheNarcisse6
    @TheNarcisse6 3 года назад

    دكتور اذا حاولت اطبق ماتعلمت بدون ما اربط 7 second molar
    مركز المقاومة للفك cr راح يكون جهة الناب اذا حطينا heavy gauge wire
    تقريبا يعني اذا عملنا long elastic من first upper premolar to the lower 7
    راح تمر القوة في الفك العلوي من cr اذا الفك يتحرك الى الخلف و الاسفل bodily mouvement without moment
    اما الفك السفلي راح يكون عندنا moment كبير اذا دوران للخلف مع
    molar extrusion
    و يتقدم الفك السفلي للامام
    يعني في حالة classe 2 div 1
    Short face
    Deep bite
    يعوض classe 2 short
    posterieur elastics
    لكن عدم ربط 7 قد ينتج عليه بعض المشاكل اللي حضرتك تحدثت عليهم في فيديو آخر
