Oh Gayle, while other companies like PFAFF, Janome, Brother, Baby Lock it al are bringing new, TOL machines with exclusive features and capabilities like AI, Projection Editing in Quilting and Embroidery modes, Embellishment attachments and other things to the market, what Bernina is offering are painted machines and a 5.5mm machine? I already have a 5.5mm machine (Bernina 630E) in addition to my 9mm B830 LE. I am not really that excited. Actually, I am thinking very seriously on the PFAFF Icon 2 instead

That’s more like what I wanted. I bought a 740 but don’t like the big feet and the wide feed dogs.
I was hoping the little table would be metal, the one that came with my old machine broke, as did the tool storage that slipped on.
But can you use a 5 stitch plate on a 770?
Anyway, the 7 series is a great machine. There is something for every sewer with Bernina. ❤️
