I think we ALL been wondering about Williams for a while now! Least now we have answers and a really good update.
I'll be happy for them to continue supporting the Williams IP, as long as they make use of it. I know Terminator 2 is currently being requested, and rightfully so, as that was a another great table, which was also featured in The Pinball Arcade as a crowdfunded table.
Happy to hear Williams tables are coming, though sounds like it may be a while. There are still A LOT of Williams tables that could be ported over (that used to be on Pinball Arcade). Hope you guys can let us know which ones are coming this year sooner than later.
Also, please look into a premium re-release of your Universal original tables with the iconic movie music. I'd gladly pay extra/rebuy tables like Jaws, ET, Back to the Future, etc. if they had the correct music.
Yes, there are some great tables we still need to do. We are working on bringing more!
I agree, I wont buy the Universal tables as they are like knock offs without the themes. I would pay if they did include them though.

Yes, after playing PFX VR its hard to go back to flat pinball! I only hope they aren't just releasing this for the Meta Quest platforms. I prefer playing on the PSVR2.

The AtGames community are eagerly waiting for more tables, especially Pinball M. But, we want them to run properly.
We are actively collaborating with AtGames with Google and Epic Games experts to find some kind of remedy for this!

Thanks so much, you guys, for reassuring us that more Williams tables are on their way. I'm disappointed it'll still be 6-7 months away, and also just three tables, but I'm also very excited!
I'm also thrilled about the VR announcement--I would imagine it'll be the very best way to experience digital pinball! It is disheartening, though, that it's Meta and not PSVR. Yet another platform we'll have to buy all our tables all over again for. I'm holding out hope that it'll come to PSVR someday!
Lastly, I'm still very much excited about Xena Pinball!! May 16th can't come soon enough!!
I'm also hoping this "Meta deal" also includes PSVR 2. I won't be buying a Quest any time soon. Hopefully it's just a timed exclusive, if exclusive at all.

Good luck with Pinball M after purchasing Texas Chainsaw because since I purchased it I made it to level 25 and got new rewards for all tables and every time I try to purchase them I get blue error screen on my PS 4 😡 it crashes after I purchase 1-3 things every time! And I deleted it and re- download it unplugged my PS 4 for a little while, rebuilt the database and same outcome every time 😡 I'd demand my money back but you can't get ahold of a human being at Sony! It's ridiculous the money I've put into Zen to have to deal with this 🤬 Hope you had or have better luck with it than I did ✌️

THANK YOU, ZEN!!! More VR content -- finally! I thought you had abandoned the platform, which drove me nuts since VR is, without question, THE best pinball experience rivaling real life tables. I am one of those voices who simply no longer plays 2D pinball since picking up a Quest II and playing VR. I bought this platform to play VR Zen pinball -- literally. I have all 20 Zen tables available in VR and will buy any new VR content day one. But I'm especially psyched about Williams VR. Take my money. FWIW (probably not a lot) here's my Williams VR wishilist: Junk Yard, Hurricane, Space Station, Twilight Zone, not part of your current catalog but Centaur, not part of your current catalog but Space Shuttle, (ditto) Fire Power, Pinbot. While I think your designers do a terrific job most of the time and I'm content with the Zen style of table design and enjoy them immensely, there's just something about the old real-world tables. While I have your "ear" here's a request that will go unheeded but I'll say it anyway... Would LOVE a minimalist, old-old school EM table in VR with maybe a card theme and banks of drop targets. Something like the Williams equivalent of a Jack's Open, or Big Shot, or El Dorado. Also -- if I may, since I'm on a rant here, just a suggestion to your designers -- maybe fewer ramps and more drop targets? Also, please make these new VR tables available in Quest 2 not "just" Quest 3. This news made my day and thank you to your talented team for keeping pinball alive and well in the digital age.

Man I had a really rough week guys and this really turned it around , really great news all around very excited , just knowing the Williams three pack is coming eases my mind the bigger licensed ones potentially more for next year makes me feel positive about tableside Terminator or Dracula making their return . Maybe Even Elvira.

Said this on two other videos. Really like the new lighting and reflections on the pinball itself, seen on Pacific Rim. Please bring that to the previous tables on FX! Love the attention to detail!

Pinball FX 2 VR was mind-blowing, because it had PC graphics and the graphics were very similar to the flat PC version. Star Wars Pinball VR was a disaster, because it had Quest graphics and the tables looked like crap. Meta or not Meta, I hope this new VR game will have PC VR and PS VR2 version with PC graphics, not Quest...
I too am hoping for PC versions, but you should try the quest Star Wars version via "Quest games Optimizer" it increases the resolution massively.
Ditching the coins was a GOOD move. Just give us quality tables to be purchased at a fair price. ✅ However, I was sad to hear "we are teaming up with META, for VR". I Assume this means that you won't be supporting the PSVR 2 fans? This would be really awful news for those of us who have been supportive and buying all of the PSVR Pinball FX titles thus far. I don't dislike the Quest, but I feel the PSVR 2 is the choice for those of us who want to game in VR, where as the Meta Quest is more about casual VR consumption.
The THREE things I want for Pinball FX... 1. MORE WILLIAMS Tables. 2. VR support.. PSVR 2, to be exact. PCVR support by way of PSVR2 is good too, but don't forget your PSN fans! And 3. Use the Pinball M (Mature) platform to release some R-Rated, or more mature oriented, and UNCENSORED tables. I'm thinking of the Elvira tables, and maybe the Playboy table (if that is even R Rated, by today's standards).MattH
I can't wait to hear more news about the VR project! Pinball FX 2 VR is still one of my favorite VR titles!! I'm even in the process of building my own pinball controller for even more immersion :D

Pinball is my favorite way to get people into VR. No nausea issues and it just shows how much fun can be added by playing games in VR. It is the VR killer app, so I am not surprised Meta is getting in on this.
Please make the pinball shinier and more metallic looking like in PFX3.

Good to hear. I can’t justify buying a top end PC for my cabinet when my basic one runs fx3 so well. I wish I could program the buttons from my series x to work on it! Could it be possible for the less powerful switch versions of the tables on FX to be available on PC?
Looks like VR will be a different game (like FX2 VR and Star Wars VR) and then we have to buy all the tables again?

@@pinballwiz45b My biggest hobby on PC is Sim Racing. I have never seen these games having separate releases for desktop and VR. E.g. Assetto Corsa, AMS2, rFactor 2, ACC, and more… even the latest F1 games from EA support desktop and VR in the same game.
pinball M is so good, great themes! I will have to grab a quest 3 now for sure. I tried starwars pinball and its sweeet in vr. I will pay for the VR williams thats amazing! Little dissapointed that chainsaw table is slicing cardboard cut outs, i mean we got mortal kombat dont we, whats the issue

If as you say you love the Nintendo Switch, why have you not fixed the non-working flippers in Zen FX and M tables when playing through a SJ@JX controller on a ATGames pinball, there was no problem playing the FX3 tables.
Football was my favorite FX2 table, great news that it's returning!

It sounds like a deal with Meta, which sounds like they are backing the wrong horse here. PSVR 2 is the best gaming experience. With any luck they will have retained the rights to release on other platforms. Maybe just a short timed exclusive or something. This can also be a positive thing since when developers go from Quest to PSVR 2_, they often improve things. As well as adding improved haptics, adaptive trigger support, and eye tracking.

I really enjoy Pinball M and I wanted to see if you guys are aware that the unleashed power achievement or trophy is still not obtainable 6 months after release. I know you guys are really busy but wanted to see if you could please make that achievement obtainable as it's the only one that is impossible to unlock. Thanks Zen :)

Packs always release altogether

@@ronald6563 I guess there's the odd exception, but since I've played Zen Pinball from the beginning, it's almost always packs releasing, whether it's 3 or 4 Marvel tables, Star Wars etc. And most of the Williams did release as a pack. Way more often than not it's it's pack.
great show ,now implement different room lightening options,different rubber you can put on your flippers ake bouncing less bouncing more in different color scemes witch could be unlockable via reward system,implement a better cabinet view like the wiliams tables have a beter view ratio versus the zen originals ,or have a more extensive camera editor ,inplement diferent table leds like night mode and fluo led table lightening , just go ham lol,like the different flippers you can install in pinball m but then with connected other pysics flipper bouncing characeristics..implement fps view walking arround in your tropy room make it more immersefull,thats all for now 😋great work zen @raytrace 🙂
I hope the new mobile app is good. “No freemium monetization gimmicks… pure honest pinball experience.” Oh I wish I could trust this. It’s nice to finally hear Mel admit that the freemium model was a gimmick and a dishonest experience. I don’t need all the new bloat in the recent pinball iterations. I don’t need fancy balls or ball trails, i don’t need weird rewind mechanics to make the game easier, i don’t need frames or avatars for my user name. I just need a classic pinball experience that looks good and runs smoothly on my iPad. Unfortunately, my experience with Pinball Party and Pinball Masters makes me nervous. Pinball Masters, the latest zen mobile app, looks muddy and washed out with poor resolution and the performance is not smooth at all with a bad frame rate on my iPad pro. Zen Pinball stopped receiving support about 5 years ago so I’m finally happy to be getting a new title after waiting all these years.
That's the goal - give a straight, easy to understand and good mobile experience!
Will the premium collectibles in Pinball FX be available as prizes in tournaments and seasons, or will they disappear for good?
If we buy them with pinball coins and own them in the game it is already clear.

I think better news would have been that they are leaving Embracer, and merging with the top talent at Farsight, as well as taking on their Stern license, to work out on bringing out newer Stern tables.

Hey Zen ,thank you for all the announcements I'm late to the party I just saw this video but I am just like most of the community a humongous Williams obsessed old school tables guy, so that news is sweet music to my ears. I also just purchased the quest so the meta news is almost too good to be true LOL and I've always been a huge supporter of anything you release on the phones with the exception of the Netflix venture because well, it's just not a Zen quality product and it's pretty obvious. But yes I am an Android guy and I've always wanted the Apple features like gambling on skillz would be an incredible feature I'm very competitive and I love to make money. One last thing consider pinball m in VR. As you know most of your community are grown adults and we love grit grime and horror

We are working on making this happen. There are still some negotiating and confirmations to be done, but hopefully we can swing a PC free period as well

Was hoping for more cabinet mode updates?
Thank you for bringing back Super League Football, Zen! I hope it doesn't become multiple versions of the same pinball table but with different teams, each retailing at full price, unlike the last time. I'm not even familiar with any of these teams, so I get completely lost in which version I should go for.
Think they're avoiding licensing the real teams as those are pricey. This table is literally featuring devs as the players so no issue with long term licensing and thus they're even giving it to us for free.
No, only the Zen FC version is releasing this time

I was referring to pinball on the Quest. Working on it right now and chances it will work with the new Zen pinball for Quest VR are very high. It's one of the main reasons we developed it the way we did. So you can not only connect to PC (regular and VR) but also connect directly to the Quest to play Quest pinball games (= native quest) like Star Wars for Quest.

Love that Texas Chainsaw Massacre is coming out but what a missed opportunity to not base it on the original classic movie. It's based on the latest movie that had the worst character design for Leatherface and was without a doubt, the worst movie in the series. If you do A Nightmare on Elm Street, PLEASE do NOT base it off the remake. Would also love to see a classic EVIL DEAD table. Another cult classic ripe for a table would be Phantasm. You could do so much with the balls/spheres. Friday the 13th would be great too but rights are still a bit of an issue.
Does anyone actually like all these animations on those pinball tables? I personally hate that. But yeah, I just want some clean recreations of real tables.
Anyone else having issues with Pinball M crashing constantly on PS 4 after the edition of Texas Chainsaw Massacre? I'm getting so pissed because just hit level 25 and finally got new table rewards to unlock and Everytime i purchase one up to a few items i get blue error screen and i mean every time! 🤬 It was bad enough that the framerate constantly drops and screws you up while trying to get these rewards to begin with but now constant crashing 🤬 if i could get ahold of a human being at sony I'd demand my money back! This is 🤬 ridiculous that ive put 🤬loads of money into Zen pinball between FX, FX 3 and Pinball M and it's a pain to play M long enough to earn the rewards to begin with just to have the 🤬 crash after purchasing 1 or 3 thing's 🤬 anyway please let me know if anyone else is experiencing this problem! ✌️
