Israel is faced with “only impossible decisions”, says the government’s former spokesperson Eylon Levy, who tells #TimesRadio Netanyahu is prepared to “go it alone” in the face of international pressure not to enter Rafah.

I've just watched a video on another channel where a IDF soldier spoke with a Palestinian family to move to saver grounds, a Palestinian guy said their family prefers death and die as Martyrs than move out.
It was so sad because you could hear young children in the background.
They’ve seen what was their home destroyed, their people starving and dying, and they know displacement is a slow undignified death. To stand on your home soil in the face of such horror is bleaker than anything I can imagine, but shows conviction.

This is a baffling line of questioning -- Have Brits forgotten what it means to have an all hands on deck national crisis? And standing together? Putting politics aside and defending your country? It seems completely alien to these journalists. Perhaps they have no values worth defending themselves

Israel gets criticized no matter what they do. It's always been this way. they are never allowed to finish and win a war. Given that, they might as well go all out, try to destroy Hamas, free the hostages, and end the war. This is presumably what everyone wants, although most of their actions prove the opposite, sadly.

I believe it is important to address the misinformation being spread about the Israel-Gaza conflict. The caller in the video seems to have a biased view and is not considering the actions of Hamas, a recognized terrorist organization. Israel has the right to defend itself against constant rocket attacks from Hamas, which puts innocent Israeli civilians at risk. The IDF takes precautions to minimize civilian casualties, such as warning residents before conducting airstrikes. The focus should be on holding Hamas accountable for using Palestinian civilians as human shields and inciting violence. It is crucial to understand the complex nature of the conflict and not jump to conclusions based on emotional reactions.
Eylon does a wonderful job of explaining to a young inexperienced virtuous interviewer what human shields are and how they are used by those who care nothing about humanity or law.
Once this all over, this man must be pursued in the UK courts for defending war crimes in Gaza.
