Is it too much to ask for Shadowman to get another solo series? Don't get me wrong, I love the way he looks in his new Russian gear and raising his own army of the dead, but I really want him to get more exposure in the Valiant Universe.
I honestly don't know how I found your RUclips page over a year ago but I am so glad I did! thanks for all the hard work you and your team do to make these amazing videos! #ValiantSwag
The only Valiant title I have read is Rai; and the only reason is because of Clayton Crain's artwork: [love his artwork]. But after watching this episode of Variant the book title Faith: [a plus size superhero] looks interesting. Also if this title was turn into a movie, and people are not bored of superhero movies yet (heavy on the yet); Jillian Bell kind of looks like the main character.
Would love to see Archer & Armstrong movie with Gilad and Ivar. That would be amazing. Gilad is my favorite character ever. Loved Eternal Warrior since I was 14.
On the topic of what they said, I'll run down it here. For the Faith series, I am interested, I loved her in Harbinger which was surprising because I first saw her on a random Tumblr post, I didn't think much of her but reading Harbinger and the whole Harbinger War series, I think she is awesome now so I'd like to see more of her. For the Generation 0 thing, haven't seen much of them besides the second Bloodshot Trade and Harbinger Wars so not sure what to think, should probably read more Valiant titles where they appear. For the movies, I am really excited because Harbinger and Bloodshot are the two series I have currently read and am up to the Harbinger Wars as I suck at saving money and am poor so I have yet to get more Valiant comics (also looking for the Valiant Masters because I am curious on the old comics too). I can't wait till they come out, I hope they do well. For the Britannia one, it sounds interesting though I wondered how it'd tie in to anything besides the Eternal Warrior with its time frame but it sounds pretty cool. Would check it out when I could. For Savage...reminds me of Tarzan, Ka-Zar (Marvel's Tarzan that lives in the Savage Land) and Turok because he fights dinosaurs, and that last bit makes me curious. From what I know, they had three Gold Key characters, Solarr, Turok and Magnus. Solarr was a reality warper if I am not mistaken and now they have Divinity, now they have Savage, who will be fighting Dinosaurs like Turok, I feel like they are replacing the Gold Key characters with creations of their own. I mean, it makes enough sense due to the fact that I think Solarr and Magnus were important to old Valiant but I do find it odd, either way, may check it out if I get the chance. For the Bloodshot one, I love Bloodshot so I'll read it. I want to read his series just like I want to read more Harbinger and shit related to that like Faith and Imperium because I like Toyo Harada as well so I like the sound of it, I also am curious how this zombie like thing will work out and how they will have more Bloodshots running around will go. I am also glad the Renegades are back but fuck, I was unintentionally spoiled on who died in the team as I haven't gotten past Harbinger Wars yet. I was wanting to buy more and saw a comic where one of the team members died but they never said so I was hoping to read that and find out yet now I know. But eh, she wasn't my favorite so its not that bad but still, I wanted to find out for myself. And finally, unless I forgot one, Divinity Three. Did they come out with two yet? I guess so, I only look for the trades since I prefer those to single issues. Reminds me of Superman Red Sun where all the characters are Russian or Russia playing a big part in the universe so I'll read that, I already want to read the other two Divinity's and I liked Superman Red Sun so I don't see why I wouldn't pick this one up. All in all, these titles sound interesting enough, people seemed excited so I am sure they will do well.
hey Arris, is there a deadline for when we need to send in our favorite Variant moment videos? havent had a chance to make mine yet but i want to this weekend, thanks, keep up the great work man, love the channel!
Looking forward to Harbinger Renegades. Darick Robertson has been one of my favorite artists since reading The Boys he did with Garth Ennis. #ValiantSwag.
+It's me David And ComicIsland! Don't got to Comic bookcast2. They are asseholes and spoil films/comics. Also every Tuesday night on Collier Video Channel there is a weekly show called Collider Heroes. I recommend them if you're a sweaty.
+ Gwyndon X-O manowar, Bloodshot and Harbinger for starters. After that you get go to Unity and Ninjak. For the immortal Anni-Pada brothers you can read The eternal warrior, Ivar, Timewalker and Archer and Armstrong. If you would like to read a Humor-focus comic series you should read Quantum and Woody. And also don't forget to read the yearly events Harbinger wars, Armor Hunters, Book of death, 4001 AD and their tie-ins.
I love Valiant, but I gotta wonder how many people got to the summit there. Odds are that if they don't show the crowd it's not that big of a turnout. I'm sure it was a big one, just not a BIG one so to speak. Interesting with them going for new characters. May as well in a sense, considering that while Valiant may be a brand, it's not a strong one (just being honest) and doesn't really have any reason to 'stick to what works' since they don't know what does. I think the success of Divinity and it's original premise might work better as a movie thanks to its freshness rather than Bloodshot and Harbinger which is banking on familiarity. Either way, looking forward to the VCU :D
john lawful If one considers what they make reboots and merchandise of I'd put things like Transformers, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Lego etc. Like I said, I didn't mean to make a pot shot against Valiant, I love em, but they're just not this big mainstream name, and they won't become that with comics, considering how few read them in USA. That's why they're really banking on this 5 movie deal with Sony, since that will take them into the public eye properly. Honestly though, I think a Netflix series, animated or liveaction might have been a better road to travel, but hey, I'm just a nerd at a computer.
Great video as always Arris, I'm actually thinking of reading some Valiant books now, I hope some videos on Valiant recommendations, History of and good jumping on points are coming soon, it would be really helpful. Keep up the good work. #1JamaicanFan
Why is there so little online chat about Valiant? Because they do everything right! No Solar? We'll make Divinity! No Magnus? We'll roboticize Rai! No Turok? We'll make Savage! Suck U, Marvel and DC! Your films are either stand-up comedy or depression operas? Our films will be better!
I noticed from researching and reading and watching everything under the sun on this internet is that I see more people more into anime then American comic book superheroes. Possibly because anime from what i read and watched from many videos is that anime has better story, action and character development. While comic book superheroes tend to have bland story concepts, hardly any out of this world action scenes and barely any character development. Now this is not what I think personally but from the many forums, youtube videos that I have read and seen It's pretty interesting tho
Comic stories are very interesting and A lot of characters develop and a ton of action. Most anime has no character development, bland story, and no longer interesting. I said Most not all Anime are bland and generic. Some comics can be terrible as well. I also see that Comics and Anime are sort of affecting each other I see more Superhero like Anime. Comics now have More Japanese characters and sometimes takes place in Japan. But I think in about 1,000 years Anime and Comic will be bigger then ever. (Also Video Games too) and I won't have to take back my words if I'm wrong because I won't be here in 1,000 years so You can't say "ha you're wrong" but I really think that they are just going to get bigger That's what I think anyways.
I'm actually surprised Valiant is still around. Valiant really should think about selling their characters to Marvel....or at the least, sell Bloodshot to Marvel. Imagine a Bloodshot/Cable or Bloodshot/Punisher or Bloodshot/Howard the Duck team up...man, my wee wee is starting to get engorged just thinking about it.
I couldn't find the answer to this anywhere else so I was wondering if any of you could answer this question, why and how does wasp grow wings when she shrinks down?
Daniel Adkins I found out NBC Universal owns the Gold Key properties, so Magnus, Dr. Solar and Turok would not likely be with the other Valiant characters. That sucks, since those three were also staples of the Valiant comics during the 90s, with great interconnected stories. I feel similar to finding out ROM: Spaceknight and the Micronauts are not going to be part of the MCU.
I love the: less comics a month = better. Most publishers just put out as many titles as possible to gain money, but that usually doesn't guarantee great content. Limiting themselves to less than 10 titles a month gives more focus.
Rbdn T But the heads of Valiant still oversee their own projects. It's like MCU. Each Marvel film has a new team working in the film, but there are always constant people who make sure it's quality like Kevin Fiegie.
I just discovered the Valiant universe this year and holy shit, they have a lot of cool stories.
I agree.
Noodle Sushi best thing about them is they don't try to sell their characters as superheroes like marvel or DC.
but as fantasy or SCi fi genre.
Is it too much to ask for Shadowman to get another solo series? Don't get me wrong, I love the way he looks in his new Russian gear and raising his own army of the dead, but I really want him to get more exposure in the Valiant Universe.

Yes. I remember when they started back in the 90s. Were awesome then, and I’m coming back too.
Valiant has been making great books
Would love to see Archer & Armstrong movie with Gilad and Ivar. That would be amazing. Gilad is my favorite character ever. Loved Eternal Warrior since I was 14.
Congrats guys! I've been reading Valiant since the beginning and I'm pumped about the new titles, especially Harbinger Renegades!
Harbingers/Renegades flick coming omg, and Valiant comics are prolly my fav publishing company next to DC. Now make an X-O Manowar flick please!!!

original faith was good. but now? now its just fat acceptance retardation.
Rebel Wilson should be cast as Faith in the movie adaptation.
if it ever gets made.. it will flop/

X-O Manowar is the Valiant backbone, start there and branch out into other characters.
I started with Harbinger and Archer and Armstrong. I think they're very good places to start.
TBH. Any place is good. You can start at #23 and you'll somehow be fine.
I just started with the 4001 AD event. Do I guess I'm in the future timeline but I love it.
Valiant is my favorite publisher next to Marvel and Dc. I cannot wait for movies.
can wait for Divinity, hype!!!
Please, more Valiant coverage, please.
Please. :)
Love watching you guys grow!
history of caiptan cold, redskull, blackjack, clay face, two-face,killercroc, killermoth, firefly and magneto
interesting. I think I look into this brand. I'm mainly into Marvel/DC comics.
I was there and took a selfie with Arris, he's very nice.
This was hell a dope. Down to get my #ValiantSwag on this summer!
I love Valiant, but I gotta wonder how many people got to the summit there. Odds are that if they don't show the crowd it's not that big of a turnout. I'm sure it was a big one, just not a BIG one so to speak.

+mr maneuver Hank Pym altered her body to allow her to shrink and grow wings when she does.
Super excited for the Generation Zero series coming up! #ValiantSwag
I want a Anni pada brothers movie to introduce the Valiant universe
Good work Arris!
So excited for this stuff
I'd love to see a Turok, X-O Manowar, Magnus Robot Fighter and Dr. Solar movies. MAKE IT HAPPEN, HOLLYWOOD!
+ravager48 I could see Universal/Dreamworks doing a Gold Key Cinematic Universe. They wouldn't be connected to Valiant though.
Daniel Adkins I found out NBC Universal owns the Gold Key properties, so Magnus, Dr. Solar and Turok would not likely be with the other Valiant characters. That sucks, since those three were also staples of the Valiant comics during the 90s, with great interconnected stories. ravager48 only Co is owned by valiant
When will the x men apocalypse review be coming out?
For a second there I thought Jody Houser was Rebecca Sugar.
Congrats on 1 Million Subscribers!
Hey Arris are you excited for the Valiant cinematic Universe? :D
