Lenovo 310S 08ASR Desktop upgrading SSD 500 WD BLUE

Hi there! I've been looking into upgrading my Lenovo 310S desktop recently. Specifically, I've been thinking about replacing 08ASR with a newer model. I've heard good things about the WD BLUE SSD 500, so I might give that a try. Have you had any experience with these upgrades? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Is there a way to install the SSD without the caddy? Is there an additional slot inside to add an additional 2.5" or 3.5" hard drive without losing the optical drive?

change your hard drive to buy this thing to put your SSD inside Corsair Dual SSD Mounting Bracket 3.5" CSSD-BRKT2

you can put one but you have to buy a special adapter nvme ssd
