Back in the 80’s we used the trail out of Gold Valley up to Snake Lake. The trail going down was so dangerous the forest service wouldn’t allow anyone to use it. They wouldn’t even allow our local club to adopt it. Obviously someone has gotten this trail in shape.
Wild trax, too bad about doing in the rear diff, would have made another hight in the adventure, great reverse driving, all the best to yous and your loved ones
I believe it’s a Dana 44 tapered that has been converted to full floating. It has lockable hubs in the rear for flat towing. It broke at the hub and was 27 spline count.

The trail is called Gold Valley OHV Snake Lake Loop.
