    Very cool.
    I've done it twice. And after listening to all that yapping I know now why I did it alone! Hahaha.

    God! I would drive off the edge on purpose if this was my passenger 😂

    As a manual jeep driver, I must say your wife needs to trust you more on the wheel. Panicking the way she did on those tight turns would create more drama and driver can lose concentration. Thank goodness this wasn’t the case, great vid.

    • @rosselliot8971
      @rosselliot8971 Год назад +7

      Dead right. The driver is driving, not the passenger. It's one thing for the driver to ask the passenger about clearance or other such, but passengers should not be offering advice or instruction.
      I understand that when people are nervous they tend to yabber away to cover their anxiety but it can be very distracting for a driver. I admire this man's forbearance.
      Good perspective.

    Great video. Thanks for sharing. The wife is obviously a Jeeper. I love that. Quite the gamer. I actually talked to Matt and his wife from Bleepin Jeep this year at Bantam about their adventure on Black Bear. When I see him next year I will pass along that he was fondly referred to as "what's his face". He will get a laugh from that. Keep Jeepin and be safe.

    This is definitely on my list. I'm and extremely competent off roader with 40 plus years experience. I'd like to take my H2 over the pass, has it been done before? I've seen some vids of full size pickups make it, albeit with some difficulty.

      You'd be fine. Just take as many reverses as you need for the switchbacks and don't stomp the brakes when going down the steps, use slow forward momentum

  • @kurtloptien185

    You possess a great deal of calmness or you're scared $hi+less of your wife. I believe I would have had her walk down. I'm glad you survived and made it down the pass as well.
    You should consider stopping in the wider areas and let the motos pass you.

      Actually the stopping gives a good chance to relax and look around, take it in. You really cant look around when driving with a drop off on one side and an wall on the other.
