He is a beauty!
Ivory Queen Thank You
Another great video. everyone in that tank is looking super healthy! still telling people about the hybrid parrots trying to break up the green terror fight.
Thank You! That's why I love to keep so many different types of fish...I get to witness different personalities and characters all the time!
I have 5 marble angels that I bought together all are 6-7 inches, they square off to each other but none of them fight. I also have 10 cory catfish in with them and the angels dont bother the corys at all. when I got them they were all 6 inches, and so pretty that I bought them and had the guy hold them for me till I could go out get a tank and set it up for them. It took about a week to set it up, as I had a filter with cycled media. They are some of the most impressive and stunning fish I have ever seen. I just had to have them, and yours is stunning as well.
Thanks, yes they are amazing...today I have a colony of 7
I love Angelfish ❤
But my Angelfish Dead 😭

African Cichlids Thank You!
Just bought 4 marble angle fish earlier they definitely look adorable 😍😍
Absolutely beautiful fish, he looks like he has some koi in him as well
Thank You!
I love angelfish!! Nice video DWS:)
Keith's Planted Aquariums Thank you
cool
Gorgeous colored fish. Love the radiating stripes of black, and the gold along top fin. A bigger heavily planted tank may solve the territorial problem. A group of mollies or guppies will constantly produce babies which give the angels live food and allow natural hunting behavior, relieving frustration. However not so fun for the guppies. .
Thank You! At the moment mine is more milder because he's in a 210g community with so much activity that, too many fish for him to try to dominate over!
DWSDARIUS FISH TANKS ; thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience with others. I love your channel and your fish room, can't wait for the next video :)
Thank You!
Nice video, man!
Josh's Aquatics & Railroad Videos Thank You
Looking to get one .
I got 3 golden angelfish and 1 marble
I bought 1 Veil Tail Marbled Angel and 2 other silver Angels. My Veil tail is doing well and watches everything I do. Unfortunately, the silver 2 died within 2 weeks. Both came from the same tank. The veil tail was in a different tank. Wish I went with 3 Veil Tails.
How old this angels
Mighty impressive my brother. Every time you showcase one of your beauties, I swear I've never seen them in your previous uploads. You really know how to save the best of your fish for the right time.
Also, how on earth do you manage to grow such a healthy and vibrant Amazon Sword plant, and how long has it been kept in that tank?
wyzemann Thank You...with my amazon sword I use dirt and I've has that plant for about a year! Still now flowers or runners yet though!
I HAVE A BLACK VEIL ABOUT THE SAME SIZE IM NOT SURE ABOUT
WHETHER HE IS MALE OR FEMALE HIS FINS ARE BEAUTIFUL
Hi Darius! Thanks for sharing your knowledge on this fish and others! I would like to add one angelfish to my 29g tank with two platys and one molly. It is planted with one anubias and two java ferns along with some fake plants and caves for hiding. Do you think it is possible for one angelfish in this tank? My other option is one blood parrot cichlid. The tank is fairly new. I had one common gold fish in there to help cycling for nearly three weeks now. I just added the platys and molly yesterday and they seem to be doing fine. I do a water change once a week. The goldfish is no longer in the tank. Thanks!
Thank you, yes a angle fish would do good in that type of setup. A blood parrot would get too big and potentially become too aggressive for the tank mates, but an angle would be good!
Are all marbles veil? I'm starting to see some long extensions in my angels fins.
Not all, but it is in the genes of most
The video is not hd? Format seems 4x3I thought you just got a new camera
BolivianFishKeeper My editing programs does that but Im about to get a better program
Did they fight from day one or as time went by?
As juveniles the larger chased the smaller one a bit, but as they grew so did the aggression
Nice cow fish! I got the same some years ago, but it was indeed to aggressive to the other fish when it became to big after some years, so I dropped him/her and the partner at the LFS later! What is the white in the tank, got slime mold also in there?
69bonesz Thanks, that whit color is on the outside of the tank...something between the background and glass!
Ow ok, ty for the answer :)
Angels are hands down the raddest fish in my opinion. I've never been able to keep them sadly. My tap water PH is 8.6, ai don't want to pay for an RO/DI unit, and I will never trust chemical PH buffers :'(
Anthony Parente Thanks....wow that sucks! What about natural buffers to lower pH like driftwood?
angel not angle lol
African Cichlids Lol...thanks did not notice that!
Lol hah
hiii dwsdarius... is it heater is most important for breading Angel fish or for rasing frys or we can just breed without heater.??.. and how u clean ur frys tank..?? plzz tel me...!!
Hey...well heaters are important because they need warm waters to survive! Also most of the time when angles breed they will lay their eggs on the heater,...so I guess its good to keep one if your trying to let them breed! As far as cleaning your fry tank, I would use a regular siphon just be extra careful not to suck up any fry! When filling the tank back up just make sure the water doesn't pours in to rough! Cleaning the tank will help them grow faster, but for the 1st 2 weeks I wouldn't worry about it...not until the fry a swimming good! Hope this helps!
thanku so so so so so.... much dwsdarius.. ya u help me alot.... thankzz for ur good suggestion...:) and can u give me ur mail id so can i touch with for any questions ..??.. and again thanku so much......:)
suraj Jadhav Glad I can help! My email address is dwsdarius@yahoo.com
how big is your aquarium ???
That tank is a 55 gallon
hi there, i currently have 4 angelfishes, They're really small ( about 2-3 inches from mouth to tailfin tip) and they all get along fine besides the minor "threats" towards each other, 2 dwarf gouramis, 2 mollies, and about 6 platies, as of now my filtration is on point,( slightly overkill but water is clear) ,and I'm running a barebottom setup and just 2 plants... my tank size is a 20gallon tall. I do weekly 50-60% water changes... would be upgrading to a 30-40 gallon in a years time suffice for the angels? or would i require a bigger tank sooner? thank you.
Nice stock...the upgrade depends on how fast your angles grow. I've had angles growth full size (6inches) in just a few months, and I've had some that were bought at the same time only grow 2 inches. So is all based on their growth rate...I'd say when they hit 4 inches you want to start thinking about that upgrade because then they may get more territorial.
DWSDARIUS FISH TANKS thanks alot man, i guess only time will tell then.
How often should I change my water? I have 2 angels and tetras (which they don't eat) 60L tank how often to change water and how much? I clean every 2 weeks and take out half the water. Should I buy a water tester kit?
Hello Emily....all fish will appreciate a good water change because it adds nice fresh water and makes life a bit more easier for them to live in glass boxes! I change 25% of my water every week, but the size and how often you change you water depends on your filtration! I'm using sponge filters in most of my tanks which are not that strong compared to other filters so that's why I change my water so often....but if you have a stronger power filter you won't have to change your water as often....your 50% every 2 weeks would be fine with good filtration! As far as getting a tester kit....I have one but I never use it! I feel that if your new to the hobby, test kits make things more confusing! Now test kits do help you see common problems in new aquariums like ammonia and nitrate spikes and also pH levels....but once your aquarium is stable you probably won't ever use it again! What you could do rather is take a sample of your aquarium water about every 2 weeks to a local pet store and have them test it for you....after about 2 months most aquariums become stable and you wont have to do that anymore! Just make sure you remember not to over feed your fish because that's usually the number reason for most aquarium problems! Sorry for such a long explanation...any more questions feel free to ask!
Awesome thanks so much for your response. It was really helpful :)
That is a great looking fish! If you get a chance check out mine in the community tank video I have.
