I was due for a new headset. So I bought both the TB 600 and 700 gen 2’s. Returned the 600’s just was not loud enough - no eq settings and connection was horrible . Kept the 700’s for another week EQ was awesome but again connection was bad -also $160.00- Took the 700’s back and figured I’d wait for these. Boy am I glad I did. These are well worth the 100 dollars. Sound is amazing with custom eq and even better with Dolby atmos app. Very comfortable - love all the controls and performs solid. No connection issues at all. I love these. I would def recommend.
Got these on pre-order and am not disappointed. I use them all day on calls for work and also for gaming. Works perfectly and sound quality as you said, is pretty on point for the price. The only thing I've noticed is that even using an Xbox Wireless Adapter on my PC, occasionally the connection will drop and I'll have to reboot the headset, which luckily is a simple button press on the side. Other than this minor hiccup that happens sometimes I absolutely love this headset.

Great review. No fluff and tons of good info straight to the point. I have these and I keep getting drops...sometimes it's intermittent and is due to not touching the controller for 10 seconds, which is an odd bug that shouldn't happen. Hit a button and it stops. Another it just totally drops and the headset must be rebooted. Did you encounter this? If so, did you find a solution?

What I love best about the headset is you can Bluetooth and listen to music and take calls from your phone while it's Bluetoothed to the console! That's so awesome! And you can adjust your music and game volume so everything sounds perfect!

I have a question for you man you being experienced in audio and all that. I have the turtle beach elite pro originals and have for the last 4 years or so and I've recently started using them with atmos and they sound amazing with the closed back 50mm drivers. I've been looking to upgrade but judging by the current state of the "headset world" it would appear that an upgrade is non existent. For instance I don't see why I need 100mm drivers with a penrose x for instance when I would blow my ears out turning these pros to Max volume. So my questions I guess are: How do these 4 year old headsets work so well with atmos and number 2 I have a $140 budget can I and should I upgrade and if so what to?

@@y0giib34r I ended up returning the arctis 7x and got the Xbox Wireless Headset. I’m glad I did. Everything works using the Xbox accessories app on the system, lets you set equalizer and bass boost and have it paired to you phone at the same time so you can hear your game and phone call at the same time.
@@braino8798 i just bought the Xbox wireless for that save reason. The arctic 7x ain’t bad but I want that Bluetooth to connect to phone lol

I just got my series x today so I would like to know in terms of competitive nature how good does it pick up stuff like footsteps and such cause I used a Astro A20 which gave a real feel that somone is indeed to my left or right behind me

this is a perfect headset for console streaming since it connects to pc and the console at the same time you can hear notifications from you stream much better than having to use your speakers or something you won't have to worry about it
