As a hardcore player I always advise people to not build an underground raid farm because if anything goes wrong you can’t escape fast enough unlike ocean raid farms.

Always build 2 beacons at your raid farms 1: Resistance 2, 2: Regen, also have a chest plate equiped. Last thing, setup stasis chamber far away and make a connection to your raid farma and have button at farm so whenever you press it u escape to stasis chamber. Also lava walls can help clear vexes

Use the F key over a totem to automatically put it in you offhand and if u ever make another raid farm, there are vex proofing ones.
