    This is what hunting is made of. Stalking the game and knowing when not to shoot. Seeing the scenery and gorgeous country whether you are in Alaska or your home state and remaining dedicated and passionate about what you do. Amazing hunt.

      Naturally but those are what make the hunt the best not everyone has to know but those memories will last a lifetime for sure.

    Great film. Doesn't always have to be about killing the animal but rather the whole adventure is what makes it a success. .300 Win mag is generally the go to for bears

    Great video showing the difficult decisions and the ups and downs of a hunting trip. Glad to see they made the difficult decision to not shoot.the questionable bear but that must have been hard after a difficult week of hunting.

    Favorite bear rifle in the past , 7 x 57, 7mm Mag. Now it would be an a weatherby 6.5 credmore! Light and fast ! Amazing quality guys! Dream hunt!!

    Great hunt, it’s never easy in Alaska. I’ve never gone bear hunting but it looks very demanding. The right decision was made, if you’re not certain, let it walk. Thank you for the great video.

    NUKA PASSAGE video is great! I just use my .308 for almost all of my hunting of larger game.

    Glassing across a bay. Wow. I thought glassing across a canyon or breaks was a challenge. Definitely a state with unforgiving conditions. Weather and terrain. Demanding the best and most reliable equipment. Good to see the MKC blades and Kifaru packs standing up to the task. Congratulations on your awesome adventure and experience. Well done! Great video!

    I liked how they showed the good days and the bad days. Some shows just show the good times. Happy to see them walk away and not shot the bear because they weren’t 100 percent sure

    That’s a trip that I want to take for sure. I hope I can make it work. Great story that does not always get told. It’s not always about just killing an animal. Respect for the animal is paramount.
    My choice would be my 300WM

    .308 Win has worked out really well for me in just about every hunting scenario. The production quality of this film is pretty sick! Nicely done gents!

    What an experience! One day I hope to get to Alaska, the scenery is amazing, what a combo of beautiful environment, and a solid challenge for a hunt. I would definitely be using my 300 PRC.

    This is great, thank you! 300 Win Mag is a classic, but would like to see 300 PRC or maybe a 7 PRC if closer. Another classic .45-70, but I tend to carry a 460 S&W Mag revolver (and a 10mm), so it would be interesting to get a 460 lever action like the one from Big Horn Armory.

    As a local on the Kenai Peninsula, I have always found it to be as much fun watching others come to enjoy my backyard. Personally, I find my 300RUM and the Vortex Venom 2-25×56 to be a perfect match for all Alaskan Big Game. Thanks for the show of Gods great works!

    I don't know if I would so much time falling through the snow for trekking the terrain. After going back to the harbor, I would have probably grabbed some snow shoes and a pull sled. Great hunt though. I like 7mm mag for bears.😊

    For grizzly bears I'd definitely go 300 win mag but I like 270nor 7 mag o t her wise. The video shows the true sport of hunting and not killing!

    Nice video. Brings back a lot of memories. I’m not sure the best caliber to answer your question, but my great grandpa shot a polar bear with a .264 win mag. And my brother got a black bear with a .270. I’ve tried a lot with my bow, nothing yet. I’ll get one this year tho.

    My main hunting rifle is my Christensen Arms Ridgeline in 300 win mag and my long range rifle is my Christensen Arms TFN in 300 RUM

    300 wm is great.
    I’m looking into my first bolt action rifle. Not sure what to do…was looking at 300 wm, 6.5 creed, or a 7mm. Developing a flinch from the 300 is my only draw back on the caliber. I want an only one caliber to practice with and hunt for all North American big game. Thoughts?

    Great adventure! Never have hunted bear, but I'd likely go with a 300 win mag if I did! It'd be awesome to go after one with the bow as well!

    "Waist high snow.." - Yikes! Way to persevere...though it may not have turned out the way y'all wanted. Sometimes you gotta pass things up. That's part of hunting! Not that I'm a skilled bear hunter, but 300 win mag in my Mesa is my go-to! Thanks for the video (& love the french music at the end!)

    Great short movie about resilience and staying in the hunt. Gets me fired up. I just posted my first video of an AZ Black bear I glassed up last week!
    My favorite rifle/cal to use on a bear hunt is my CA Mesa LR 7mm Rem Mag.

    Good decision I think to not shoot the sow even if legal. It’s about the experience not just the harvest!
